Not sure what happened, but it was directed at me...

...If anyone was inconvenienced due to the lock-out, I apologise for that.

It seems woody 2 did not like the fact that I was editing the cussing from his posts. I asked that if he had a problem with me enforcing the simple rules we have here, that he should contact the Webmaster. Well, this wasn't the result I figured on!

To Tom, Steve, and all the Moderators; my sincere apologises for this happening to AO and AGD. Please, contact me with any suggestions to avoid this in the future.

Not an intentional DoS attack, I'm guessing, but it turned into one anyway.

My guess is he got pissed off, and decided to spam the hell out of our forums to annoy us. Normally, spam can just be deleted, and then everyone can move on. But apparently our dear friend Woody put too great a load on our server, and it seems he crashed it.

Intentional or not, it turned into a DoS attack, and I personally hope that Tom and Webby decide to turn him over to the FCC or whatever other government action would be in charge of further legal action. I don't really want to see the kid go to jail or anything, but I would like to see the FCC confiscate his computer for a while as evidence, and all that hassle, plus whatever trouble he'd get in with his parents. The hassle of the investigation enough would probably make him defecate some masonry.

They must contact woody2's ISP and report the incident. Internet is not a playground for pissing contests.

Regardless of Woddys Monumentous Stupidiousness there is no need for Army or any of the mod to apologize to us. You was just doin' yo thang man! It's cool.

Though, I do have to admit that I got a tad nervous when I couldn't log on. A workday without AO? withdrawal setting in......
Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.

What in the world are you apologizing for Mr. Army?

            *clueless*

You were doing what a mod's supposed to do.

Yeah, I think he's going to have a couple problems on his hands. Why would one person try to ruin this awesome forum for thousands of other people who come here for help with their Mag or anything they want (Well, almost anything . The thing is...some people just don't understand how much we appreciate these forums, so they try and destroy it. The bastards...

I for one appreciate the job that all of the moderators do in keeping this a friendly and on-hostile enviroment. I come here for the friendliness and willingness of all users here have in sharing their ideas and knowledge. I don't care for the swearing and aggresiveness of the angry.

It just seemed to be one in the many that had the problem. Hopefully the harmony will be restored.

Thanks again to the mods. Keep up the good work!
