    Do FREAK inserts break easy?

Hey, I heard that the freak inserts break easy, and if you like drop them, or get shot in them they bust and are worthless. True, or not true!? Thanx.

I have never heard/seen anything to prove that. I have taken a couple hits on the barrel and hit some bunkers pretty hard sliding in to them and mine is fine. Is this something you have seen, or heard from a guy whose brother knows this guy who said he seen it.

No I heard it from a guy who usually has good information. But he usually beleives what he hears. Heard his barrel was crappy...stop using a barrel. That kind of thing, hehe. But I think I heard that the threads were the problem.

Oooh him! Yeah, I know that guy - a freakin' genius if you ask me.

I've never seen one break, but I've heard Reedy, and a few guys down at Franklin telling horror stories about super-fragile inserts. I dunno...

They actually seem pretty sturdy to me. Just don't stomp on one.

I've used mine hard since I got it. A few scratches and that's it. I'm rough on my gear and it shows. My RT wears the 14" extension and it's taken some pretty hard licks. You may not want to spear it into the ground, but other than that, it's the cats meow!

They arent very thick and if you drop them the can dent, I've done it already.

Also If you wanted to impress the ladies at the field you probably could break or bend one, but you'd really have to try.

I am very carefull with mine while I size them. Other than that they are very well protected in the barrel or case. Mine are holding up real well. But then again I am very carefull with *ALL* my equipment. I hate scratches and dings.

They are actually, thin and easy to dent, but ( there is always a but) if they are use for the purpose they were made you`ll have no troule with it. If you droped one it will probably dent. But i`ve been using mine for a few months now, and i don`t use anything else since.

Rob said he could dent/bent the inserts with his fingers... And from what Ive seen, felt, the inserts arent as smooth as the COULD be. They could have done a better job and used better material or polished the insides or something like that...

I don't agree with any of that. Besides Rob is a SP hater anyway!
