    How would I go about painting my grey Mag body?

    I want to paint the grey body a lovely copper color, or perhaps darker grey...what do I need to do? Is it necesary to sand the body??? What primer and paints should I buy??? Spray paint?? Well, thanx fer any help!

    I would contact Redrider about having it powdercoated. He does some good work for pretty cheap and it will last a while. If you are dead set on painteing it look into a good prant of automotive spray paint and clear coat. You should'nt have to sand it since the mag bodies are already bead blasted but you will probably need to put on a layer of primer. Also try to avoid putting any paint down under the body where it hits the rail. A few layers of paint could screw up the tolerances between the rail and body.
