    Why aren't the UConn Women getting respect?

    This is irritating. Their current winning steak is 55-0, and yet they're still only ranked 3rd. Am I missing something? They're the defending national champions, and yet they're ranked lower than Duke.

          Also, why do you think they'll be beaten tommorow? Who are they facing (I haven't had an opportunity to watch any basketball in a while, due to work).

          I just saw, UConn is going to be facing Notre Dame. It ought to be a good game.

              Womens record was 54-0, now 55-0

              The 88-0 whoever was talking about is the men's record.

                  realisically, UConn and Duke are GREAT teams. they really are. the "Top 5" almost always are a toss up. any of those teams could be hte #1 team, and the AP/ESPN polls are junk anyways. I dont care what they rank a team

                      Woohoo! The UConn Women are like the Energizer bunny. They just keep winning and winning and ....

                      The next few games should be interesting. The one against Duke should be great.
