Just like the title says, has anyone heard of the Y Board Evolution II? I was visiting the Angel thread and in a post, someone brought up the Y Board that reaches the speed of a HALO. Can someone shed some light on this.

Yep. I haven't yet seen one that comes close to the speed of a Halo when used on the gun. BE advertise it as being 2bps faster than the older Evolution.
They work quite well in drop tests... but then drop tests make the Evolution look better than it is, and the halo look worse than it is.
On gun is where it counts, and nothing is as fast or faster than a Halo B. -

you have to be carefull with them though.
if you leave the lid open with no paint in it it will start to take off

these things are FAST
they have a toggle switch like the old revs do so you dont have that damn push button.
you can upgrade to the yboard also
and all new evo2 have them installed.

yeah all the new EggII got the Y boards in them. mine has a Y board. you can tell becuase it has an on/off switch like a Revy, not a button that you push on and hold to turn off. my brother and I ordered them at the same time, of course mine got back ordered and i waited for 2 months for it, but i got a Y board and he didnt.

Just got off the phone with brass eagle. I dunno how/where these guys got theirs, but BE claims that NONE of the Version TWO (with the toggle switch) have left hte factory and are on back order. I have about 10 on backorder so, I should be getting some of the first batchComment

ive had mine for about a month now. this is the toggle switch right?
