my friend is on my paintball team and needs a better gun. he currently has a m98 tippman but needs a better gun for tournys. he has around 300-350 to spend for a gun and air. he has everything else he needs ect. i can't decide. i am thinkin a mag or a cocker or maybe an impy. what else are good cheap tourny guns?

shockers are heavy, and if you dont have good paint-barrel match the balls roll. So if hes on the tourney scene and has to use certain paint he might have to get a multi-bore system(aka $100+). Impys are nice im sure u can find a used one for that price and a anti-siphon CO2 tank(works just fine!). I see a lotta BKOs being traded or sold....(think of that what you want). Obviously youll get some bias to mags on a *think* Automag forum! So id read some reviews. and look for good used deals.(<--good way to get nice markers!)
