an all emag shooting team wins 5 man today

well guys and girls it was a nasty day it rained on and off all day. The tourney was outside of ashland ky at a new field that just open up. They had 18 5man teams.

To start we lost our first game when it came down to 1 on 2, our back guy ran out of paint, then after that game we were told by some guys on one team that they cant wate to play us. We had emags and they thought it was going to be a easy game, they were right we kicked there *** in under 2 min lol. After that we won every game!

I was useing my new black to silver fade xmag (thank you tom k .)all day long people asked me to let them shoot the c&c and they loved it . I did see a few automags and 2 rt pros there as well but all eyes were on us and the emags. By the end of the day i had a few guys ready to buy some emags and hang up there other guns. One thing that did bug me was that a lot of people did not know agd had the new c&c or the level 10 out. People its not just up to agd to get the word out its up to all of us that shoot agd markers. Sorry for no pics but with the rain no one wanted to take pics. The team i was playing with is called high impact out of wv.

I disagree, although I always speak highly of agd when someone asks it's not OUR job to advertise, it's AGD's (and I wish they would do more of it, for their sake).

Well I kinda disagree your slant on that too. Its all our jobs to tell the people out there why we like Mags. Not realy our "job" but realy our "passion" to spread the word. I do my part. You can do yours or not. It's up to you.

Congrats Brian and thanks from us all in Mag world for the great job representing us. You do us proud.

          WTG!!!

I am glad that you took first. Sorry about the bad weather, therefor the lack of pics.

I always try to sell agd products. I was the first on my team to buy one. I bought an e-mag now there are 2 more on the team. They see me shoot ropes, and they want to also. then they see my gun is the one that works every day and NEVER got popped for hot gun points.

          Way to represent.

Nice story, its always great to hear that mags have won a tourny. However, I am also going to have to disagree with the whole it's our job to advertise idea. For some strange reason AGD chooses not to advertise their products at all. When you open PB magaizines all you see are pictures of angels, matrixs, the impules, and all kinds of cockers. Because of this and this alone when you go to a tourney there are just simply more of these markers then mags, and until AGD begins to advertise I am sorry to say the true greatness of the mag won't be as widely know as it should.

              I agree whole heartedly!
I wanna open up APG every month and see full page color ads. People say "it's expensive!"
But the sales because of said ads would make them the money back in a heartbeat. As long as they get stuff in stock! Can't sell whats not there!

what i was saying by its up to all of us to get the word out is when you or playing rec ball or a tourney and someone ask to see your gun let them shoot it some and tell them all about the new stuff agd has out.tell them about automags.org .i dont mean you got to get out of your cars and say hey look everyone i shoot a mag.and yes it really is up to agd to do adds and stuff but anything the players can do out in the field helps.

CONGRATULATIONS on the win. Too bad about the pics.

Word of mouth is always powerful. I got a red ule emag w/ warp and I always get asked questions. I know I inspired at least one C&C xmag and an emag sale (both now have warps) from some rec players at CCP in Illinois. Both owners are very happy with their purchase.

Advertising is important...however, now may not be the right time, in regards to the X-Mag. The preorder list is huge and who knows how long it will take for someone who orders an X-mag today to finally recieve it...therefore it would be kind of pointless to have a strong advertising attack right now (at least for the X-mag) because I could see a lot of people just walking away from owning one if they see a big two page spread of it in a pb magazine, just to find out it will take a year to get it. When AGD get to the point where they can get an X-mag to a customer in one month, two at the most, then let the advertising begin!

However, your right. Everyone needs to know of the LX goodness

                          Congrats no the win.
Hey I would love to tell everyone I meet to go and buy AGD guns and parts. But its hard to sell stuff that is never in stock because they only made a few of them at a time.
AGD has to get on the ball and make stuff. Sorry but people are not going to wait months for something.

                            I concur.
Stuff needs to be at online shops, in stock, no more waiting lists.
