actually i think that is a peweter valve. the dishwashed valve looked more acidwashy.

Now that we've hijacked this thread, let me say, this is a GREAT price, and it should be sold by morning.

$165 is a great price for a black X-Valve with rail wear, for a pewter valve in such great shape it's a steal!
