I have a huge problem with the last of the parts you have shipped.
1.) I am still missing one part. Attached is a picture of what I sent you and what the part looks like. I have already sent you e-mails in the past talking about the missing piece.
It is the lower part of the battery pack.
Green=In my possession
Red=Missing
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...readsheet2.png
2.) The body you sent me back has been milled off completely. I have already had issues with you guys polishing off all of the body lines of the gun and now you guys have completely milled off a section of the gun. This is completely unacceptable. Your company has completely ruined this Xmag body. It is shocking to see the transformation that has happened to this paintball gun.
Wayne, I'm at a complete loss for words. This entire X-mag project has been a disaster. We are almost in week 52 (An entire year) of this build and I still see no end in sight. I am still missing parts, the body is completely trashed and the parts do not fit together at all because of all the changes in tolerances.
We talked at length on 12/5/12 about two people having negative experiences with your product and how there are always two sides of the story. I hope you realize that i'm the 3rd person that has issues with your company. Take a look back in our e-mail history and you can see both sides of the story pretty well.
Put yourself in my shoes. Picture sending $2000 and your favorite possession to a company and watch someone butcher it over and over again until they "get it right." I have felt miserable this entire time working with you guys. It shouldn't feel this way at all.
I would like to formally request a refund of $900 for the X-mag project you guys worked on. I am not happy at all with the way it has been handled. You have ruined a $1000+ paintball gun and I am willing to send the parts back to you guys for you to destroy. That is how bad this has turned out. I would rather throw away these parts instead of looking at what should have been something fantastic.
Let me know what you think and we can go from there.
Btw, you never answered my question from the other e-mail....
Do you guys honestly think you have handled this project professionally?

The xmag will be pretty hard to find from AGD, they stopped making them years ago 2003-2004. I actually run the fan site
www.xmagworld.com and I have been hunting down xmags for a while now. They come up every now and then, but they arn't cheap. I know AGD sold the last of their Xmag bodies to a dealer and to my knowledge he has sold the rest of the bodies a few months ago. I appreciate finding replacement parts, but because of how rare the paintball gun actually is, it may be an uphill battle. I am willing to take a refund for the 9 pieces that total the entire X-mag. Thanks

The problem isn't with just the body and the missing part. The current parts I have in my possession still do not work with the body. The breaches that fit on to the body cannot fit together at all with the gun. Replating the body and the missing part (Which has to be the correct part to line up with my existing parts) will not be sufficient. I have already sent you many pictures showing you that the current parts in my possession will not fit on to any of the parts you have done for me.
If you plated the two parts for me, it will not make this situation go away. Even if I had the other parts here with me, the type of finishing you did to my parts are NOT what I paid for. Your company completely ruined one of the paintball guns I sent off to get the plating done. I don't have the time to go back and forth with you every week getting the run around about this deal.
I DO NOT want an "Neo-Chrome" Xmag.
I would be willing to send you back all of the neo-chrome parts back for a trade for the Xmag that your friend has. I do not want you to finish the Xmag in your neo chrome design. I think it is apparent that you were not ready for the types of parts that this paintball gun had.
The only way I would be a happy customer is to have my money refunded to me, plus the cost of the missing "CnC Battery Housing Lower" or a complete trade for a working X-mag. I do not want anything else done from your company. I want this project to be over so I can move on in life.

The gun is completely ruined. I have already outlined my issues in previous e-mails that show exactly what you guys did to the parts. It isn't just a simple fix to line up to parts together. The gun needs to be able to hold air and with what you guys did to the parts I do not feel comfortable connecting a compressed air tank to the gun. To be completely honest I do not think it would be safe at all.
Wayne, all I want is for this deal to be over. You ruined my gun completely and I'm okay with that. All I want is a refund of the $1000 that I paid your company to do the finish and I will be on my way. I am willing to throw my entire paintball gun (It is rare and cost $1400 for the gun) in the trashcan and start over. All I want is my money back for the plating cost. There is no way we will be able to make this deal right. Your company keeps putting me in circles and has made me wait for over a year and a half and we still have not gotten anywhere.
Please send me back a refund of $1000 and I will send back the parts that you put your plating on. I do not even want the aurora plated parts in my possession any longer. Each time I look at them I am reminded with how terrible I have been treated as a customer in this entire process.

You act like this is the first time we have spoke about these issues. The problems have been outstanding since July 2013. I already sent you back the gun and you guys did not fix anything. You guys actually made it worse. Take a look at my thread I wrote about this project. It will outline everything for you.

I'm so confused on why you want this to keep on going? I'm utterly embarrassed about the entire situation. You have no idea of how many potential customers you lost because of this deal. I get multiple e-mails each week since I posted it asking about the resolution. I have NOTHING to tell them. I have tried to give you guys ample amount of time to fix the project and all you do is completely ignore my request. What are you guys trying to prove with this deal? I'm not happy with how it came out and I would like to work with you to meet in the middle and end this once and for all.
1.) Refund my $1000 into my bank account. I will send you back the parts.
2.) Straight trade. I send you back the Xmag parts that are ruined for your friends CnC Xmag.
I'm so confused of why you want to keep this project going? Your company will not make me happy to see an Aurora X-mag. It has been a year and a half with more than 100+ e-mails going back and forth. This project has been a joke and I just want this to be over.

I know who you are talking about with the parts. He is working on a new X-mag body kit, but it is not ready for release yet. If you haven't heard by now, i'm a large collector of Xmags and actually run the website
www.xmagworld.com People consider me the "xmag" guy and I have been in communication with Colin (Deadlywind) since he needs a few more parts made to complete the bodies. There are a few parts holding him up in the process and I don't know how long it will take him to release the bodies to the general public.
I was in Chicago at Living Legends 7 and I took my entire AGD paintball collection on the road for everyone to see. I actually brought the second paintball gun (The Shockwave) that you guys worked on and showed it off to the crowd. To be completely honest, I had a ton of compliments on it, but I couldn't enjoy it because the aurora finish reminds me of how bad the Xmag deal has gotten between us.
I did bring the Xmag that you did and showed my paintball friends the results. We started trying to build the gun, but we quickly realized how bad the tolerances were. There too much plating build up to slip any of the parts on to the body. After thinking it over, the X-mag body may have not been the best paintball body to test the finish on. Since the tolerances were very important to slip each part together, the chrome plating didn't leave any room for the part to fit correctly.
Your company still over polished and removed key features of the body that will never be returned, but my friends and I agreed that if it was a 1-piece body like the Shockwave or your Inception Design autococker bodies, it may have had a different outcome. After looking over the parts I do not think the aurora plating will work on the X-mag body design unless we could guarantee the amount of plating placed on the part. I appreciate the gesture to find an X-mag body for me, but I do not want to sacrifice another Xmag to the experiment, especially one that is a custom design that will only have 24 completed. I'm completely done with the idea of having an X-mag with the Aurora finish on it.
I'm assuming your friends with the Paintballgateway.com guys. I was over at their booth looking at their Inception Designs autocockers you guys did for them and they look great. I was a little jealous to see how good their guns came out. Instead of working out a deal for an Xmag, would you guys be willing to make a deal with PaintballGateway to come up with something for me? While I was at Living Legends I spoke with Simon Stevens (Owner of Inception Designs and Budd Orr (Owner of WGP) and would love to put together a pump autococker like the one below.
http://paintballgateway.com/indekrausnpu.html with this
http://paintballgateway.com/indekrauboki4.html
If I can't get a refund for this entire thing, at least I could get something that I would truly like to have. I'm already out of the Xmag which cost $1000+, plus the CnC Battery Pack which is rare and you guys lost the bottom piece and removed all of the milling which cost $180. Plus I paid you guys $900 for everything. So as of today i'm out almost $2080 for the Xmag project. All I have are a bunch of parts that don't fit and look pretty awful compared to the other pieces you did for me. It doesn't represent what my overall goal was in this project and it also doesn't represent the quality of work your company does.
Let me know what you think and we can go from there.

I have given you another 2 weeks to come up with something for me. What is going on with this deal? It is very frustrating for me to sit through this whole project without any updates. I just decided to show off pictures of my first aurora paintball gun to the world. So far it has been a great response. Unfortunately, I was not able to give your company any credit so far. Many people wanted to know who did the finish and the only thing I could do is forward them to the thread about the X-mag project that your company has butchered. I really wish we could of worked together and release these paintball guns to the masses with a positive note, but we can't. I still cannot understand how you can treat me as a customer like this.
Seriously, take a look at the finished product of the first aurora paintball gun. It turned out amazing, but you guys are leaving me out to dry. It doesn't make any sense on why you guys are dragging this out for so long. It has been a year and a half now with no end in sight. Either make it right or don't do anything at all. I am fine with losing my investment and my paintball gun just to give your company a bad review. This has gone on for way too long.

Looks good! I'm ready to start this project over again. I was a bit bummed with how the xmag turned out, but i'm glad you guys are stepping up to make this right. This is my understanding of the deal so far.....
The current part list is at 9 total parts that I originally paid for a year ago. (Attached is a picture of the 8 parts currently in my possession. One part was completely missing from the gun that was never returned.)
• You guys will send over the autococker to me. I will inspect it and disassemble the parts.
• I will pick 9 parts for plating. (1)Barrel Front, (1) Body, (1) Feedneck, (1) VASA, (1) Regulator Bottom, (1) Grip frame, (1) Backblock, (1) CCM Pump, (1) Front Block.
• Since you guys offered to plate a few more parts in an earlier e-mail, I would also like to add three parts to the list. (1) Regulator Top, (1) BeaverTail, and (1) P.E On/Off.
• I will package up all 12 parts and label them with the "Aurora" finish on them and provide a photo of what I am sending so there will be no missing pieces. (I will cover the shipping cost on my end.)
• Once you guys get the parts all I would need is a confirmation that you received the package. As we talked in many of our other e-mails in the past, I understand that this process is very complex. I'm willing to wait the standard 6 weeks, but I cannot wait as long as I did before. (We are currently at over 1 year and 7 months since we started the X-mag project) I will be keeping my online thread on pbnation.com and automags.org for the duration of this project. The thread was not created to "slam" your company, but to show exactly how this process has been handled. It has always been up to you and SSR to show everyone what your company stands for and I think this will make it right. To protect myself I must keep the threads up until we are both satisfied with the results.
• Please provide me with pictures like we did before and keep me posted on updates and I will be a happy camper. All I need will be a tracking number when it is completed.
• Once I get the gun back in my possession I will let you know the results. If everything looks good I will put it back together and send it over toBenJohnsonPhotographyto get professional pictures taken ($60 charge that I will cover.)
• After I get the pictures back from Ben I will send you a link with a set of pictures that you can use for your website/social media. His work is amazing and I think it is one of the only ways to truly capture the colors of the finish. I will also remove the threads that you mentioned earlier and will post a comprehensive thread of the new build we put together.
After looking at the X-mag I think we BOTH underestimated the importance of tolerance in the paintball guns. I picked the autococker because of the results thatpaintballgateway.com and SSR had with the other sets of gun bodies and I think this gun will be plated just fine. Please let me know what you think about the bullet points above. It will hopefully be a simple process. I think the deal is fair for the both of us. If you think so we can go from there.

I agree, I will also be sending back the 8 parts that have the aurora finish on them currently.
I'm a little bit confused on your hesitation about finishing some of the smaller parts. I actually picked out a paintball gun that consists of parts that your company has done in the past. Also, I attached a picture that your company sent to me last year when you guys mixed up my project with Rich's auto cocker. Since I liked the Inception Designs auto cocker (which you guys bought for me) I decided to get the similar parts done for my project. I know for a fact that you guys can plate these parts just fine. I just don't understand why you do not want to do any other parts for me.
Go check your own face book page. There are currently bolts and wedding rings that are significantly smaller then what I am sending you. I cannot comprehend why you cannot do small parts for me. See the attached picture for many more examples of small parts done in the aurora finish from your company. Please let me know why my parts (that you purchased for me) are any different. It does not make any sense at all.
I paid SSR for 9 parts total and I expect at least 9 parts to have the plating on it. Since you guys offered 3 more parts (in a previous e-mail) I took you up on the generous offer. I didn't wait 1 year and 7 months to get a gun that had 3 aurora parts on it. I sacrificed a very rare paintball gun, time, and money to get this far and I will not accept anything less.
If you do not have faith in your own company to keep track of 12 parts for this process please let me know now. Be completely honest with me.

In a previous e-mail I have outlined everything that is wrong with the gun. I strongly advise that you do not attempt to put air into the gun. The tolerances have warped the aluminum. I have attached photographs of the parts in my possession in previous e-mails and that is what will be returned to your company. I will cover shipping from VA to CA and I hope you will do the same.
I will not "shaft" your company. Do you not remember the $2000 I sent to you via direct Bank Transfer over a year and a half ago.
P.S I will still have to decline on the offer of the plating.
