switches?
the switch to go from Electro to mechanical, i do believe. i for one will need one, so this comes as news to me that there will be new ones made.
I need 3...
Just posting here to see if you guys want to add input into the design(??)
the stock type just aluminum
And here I was all excited thinking that you engineered a battery cut-off switch for Emags a'la the Xmag switches. Ditching the yellow cut-off pin. I am now disappoint.
But yeah, not much thought about the selector switch. I got one of yours that's more rounded than the stock switch - whatever batch that was. Either way, as long as it works, no biggie. The biggest draw is that it's aluminum and can be ano-matched to the rest of the gun.
yeah, i think you are over thinking it. KISS, its only a switch.
I personally liked the flat one with the 2 or 3 holes in it as opposed to the more rounded one with no holes in it. I would go for a few of them if you did something similar.
Interesting, I didn't know that.
I think I remember the design, but are there any pictures anywhere with one in it?

The third picture down has a nice close up
yeah I have one of those. I like it.
Yea, lets do those, I'm pretty sure I have materials that will work.
Luke,
How much do you sell for? I might be interested in one, if still in-stock (I'll be in Texas in a couple weeks).
Thanks!
In the range of my other ones.
I'm down for a couple as well.
Cool, I'm working on a production strategy right now, gonna try and have them done in a few days.
Terrible timing. I'd much rather have either one of those over the one that will be arriving in a couple of days.
Sorry about that but I only re-up my inventory when old stock is gone. I'll send you a PM and work it out. :)
I like the looks of that last one, I am currious how the two holes and the side chamfer will turn out when it is actually produced.
Regarding to the pictures of post #24, I prefer the 2nd design, and the 1st just after.
It's all good, I did see it but let it go because most of the time I would fine tune that at the time of production.
Okay, THIS should be the final design, lol.

Design Three

I think I have finalized the 3 designs. I had hoped to have these done Monday or Tuesday but I had to order tooling so we are looking at next weekend to finish up.
I like option 3.
Speaking of switches, my emag switch is getting finicky. Any advice on replacing it? I've never dug that far into the gun.
If you need a set of lowers to experiment with, I got one laying in a box you could borrow (so you don't have to take yours apart)
Thanks for the heads up!
I was always thinking about making these...just too many projects. glad to you see you are going to make it happen! would be a good idea to clearance the bottom of them so the lever does not rub on the frame....I think it would wear the anodizing on the frame.
Been selling switches for about 10 years but always made them on my knee mill, these will be the first cnc made though. (Joy) ;)
Adding a little clearance wouldn't be a problem, thanks for the heads up.
