At 53, I have decided it is time to get rid of all the paintball gear that has been sitting in the closet since the summer of 2007. I have an Ion, a vintage minimag, a 2005 Dynasty Shocker, an ugly Emag and a boatload of parts, masks, hoppers, etc...
When the Ion came out in 2005, I thought that it would be cool to "make a body" for it, and spent many hundreds of hours attempting to do so... I tried experiments in rubber molds and resin bodies, but in the end, it was more productive to shave a stock body and build it up with resins or bondo... Of course about that time, all the manufacturers started coming out with the slick aluminum framed bodies and most everyone stopped building.
I did end up with a very nice upgraded ion and a ton of spare parts...

gun was in excellent working condition summer 2007. After sitting in closet for 7 years, probably will need oring/tubing...

attached a nine volt battery and powered up... Blue LED and chirping means it has a blackheart board ... The flashing light on the powerswitch indicate that the eyes are working correctly...
