thought you were posting that the boards were shipping.
sneaky.:ninja:
The admins have fixed the problem with my email notification.
If you PM me or post in the threads, I can see the messages now.
Jai
Anyone know if these boards are still available?
Sadly, I'm out Jai. :(
so how many need to be paid for or purchased for these to be released?
just thought i would check.
thankyou,
KNM.
sending in my money tonight.
Last calculated was $1900 due for assembly
That number is lower I KNOW for certain,.. but I have not recalculated it since the $1900 was due.
There are 100 printed boards plus 10 for testing.
Parts for 100 boards as well.
We need to assemble, test for warranty, package, and ship.
So based on current trends, we're looking at 1-2 more years of waiting for people to pay up. :(
I hope this isn't holding up the development of the universal boards...those things look extremely promising!
I get that....
But still.... Money in.. Product out.
You all agree?!
This will remain my focus.
Don't want to rain on the parade here but, I'm having a hard time forking over the cash...
If i saw you were sending to people who were paid in full, i would throw cash at you.
for now it looks like a MUCH BETTER planned sinking pre-order thread (just my opinion to this point. no disrespect)... MM2k9, g-force... to many to name
I know you have more cash tied in this then me as an individual, but look at it from the customer point of view
Also I guaranty the "extras" that were not claimed by those that owed by say 30 day's from date "X" and went to first come first served, they would be gone in a week
This has been my issue the whole time, even though I paid in full long ago.
Until boards are shipped, this project is essentially dead. How do you convince people to pay for something that won't ship until another 20, 30 or 40 people pay up.
Just to get the process moving, I'd be willing to send a few extra bucks if there were a guarantee that I'd have a board by a certain timeframe.
Yeah its cool guy,... I understand completly where your view comes from.... no harm in speaking your mind.
For the status of money vesting into the project: we should be up to date with the list of people that have paid. If it is NOT,.. PM me IMMEDIATELY!
As for news,.. not too much.
I decided to dedicate my tax return this year to getting this project closed out. It wont cover the balance,.. but it will get us closer to the goal.
(I had to pay in some taxes from last year due to an error on my ex wifes part,... but thats not your problem! :-)
I couldn't e-file the return for this year,.. the IRS said 6-8 weeks for a return. Ive never paper returned so I am not sure thats the "norm".
Once I get my return in hand,.. Im going to post some copies of the deposit sent to the board house so you all can see what the remaining balance is for real on their end.
Not that it gets you your board in hand,... but it should give you a sense of where we are at to date.
As for the interest in the project: Im still here,... I get all my email notifications pushed to my smart phone within a few minutes now when you post here. So please dont feel your comments and traffic falls on silent ears..... Im trolling my own thread! :D
Anything you guys have to question/ask/comment on,... post it up!
I think what he is saying is that initial deposits made should not be held indefinitely. Deposits are nonrefundable (as they should be in this situation) but you need to apply a “balance due” date. If balances are not paid, deposits will be lost and past on to the next paying customer (remaining balance would be paid in full) until the spots are used up.
My question is this:
Can I do that morally? I mean,. I did say the MINIMUM BALANCE due was $100 to get on the list.....
Saying that "you owe your balance in full or your deposit is lost",.... to me,. thats something I cant do in this situation based on what the "agreement" was in the beginning.
Im just speaking out loud here.....
I hear what you are saying and really that should/could have been stipulated from the get-go (IMHO).
But in fairness, how long can unpaid balances prevent you from finishing the project?
There has to be a solution for all parties involved, including you. ;)
Jai,
I have PM'd you about this and posted here too. I paid you a long time ago but I still see my name on the non paid list. I paid you in full back in July of last year.

I have an idea, you could offer free tee shirts to "paid in full customers". ;)
I would also appreciate being removed from the bad list, since I'm also on the good list.:)
So glad you take things so well. It's hard to get a tone across online, i don't want to come across rude or angry. Love the board, great idea and can't wait to drop this in and shoot some of the younger guys that have no idea what an automag is!
thanks for the hard work so far
it will be nice to see these out and about. when they get out and about :D
