It's a welding class, so in between welds yeah I'm killing battery ;)
umm what am I going to call this thing?
"Trigger frame pre-order for lukes customs"
or the frame itself?
"Luke's Special"
or better yet follow the pattern
Z frame
Y frame
...
Luke's X-frame:clap:
and for single and double:
X1 and X2;)
Since its gonna be the first frame with your new logo how about MT1/MT2?
or the "elf's hammer"
(same name I suggested for the name the, now lvl 10 bolt, contest)
Cool Hand Luke
The programming for the grips are done, just need to program the (grip) fixtures. Probably cut the fixtures and prototypes Sunday, feeling a little lazy today. :)
you may have answered this already but will the everything be pre threaded or will we have to tap these on our own(mostly asking about the set screw for the saftey)...thanks
why would you put a saftey on it?
I cut a few pairs of grips today, very pleased with them. :) They weigh in at 2 ounces a pair. Cut all the materials for the rest of the grip panels, will work on them the next few days and finish up the batch, then move on and cut a single trigger (prototype).
Made a bucket of chips yesterday, making more today, inching closer. :bounce:
decided on a name?
nah, I just went with my file name 'mini vert', it's an 86 but close enough.
Moving along, grip panels are done (most of them anyway, not sure why I decided to short myself on materials) and I also machined the blanks for the two grip styles.
Programming single triggers tomorrow and they will be next in line for production.
Double trigger frames on the left, singles on the right.

Was hoping the pricing would be more along the lines of CCM's 86* or around $100 even, being raw and all. Then again, not sure what it's costing in material and time, along with the versatility of the frame.
Frame, trigger and aluminum panels for $100 will never happen with production numbers like this.
truth.
even if AGD made only 50 intelliframes theyd be around 200
bulk investment means cheaper frame but a hope and a prayer for profit
Yes, I understand where the cost comes from. Looking forward to the quote for the anno as if anything I hope for gloss black. These the same grips as CCM's frames or.....?
Ccm's use a single hole design... These appear to be custom.
How does the weight of these stack up against one of your ULE'd intelliframes? I bought a used one the other day and thought it was plastic at first.
The Mini Vert single trigger frames weighs 4.5 ounces, grip panels weigh 2 ounces per set.
