It's okay to mix peas and corn. But don't call it "porn".

I dont know whats going to happen with me this year, if my mom is going to drive me up and drive me back, or if she drives me up early and leaves me to get raped or abducted, or if I get a ride up there, im not sure I would like to stay the extra day though.

I'm there, the room is reserved!

I've got room for one person if anyone is interested. The room is NON-Smoking

    And your point is?

Anyway that's how we think of all Americans, we don't worry about details like geography...

Grits are all good. Up here in the northern territory we can't just run out and get grits. This is the one thing I usually look forward to when I cross the Mason Dixon line

Coarse ground corn meal boiled in salted water till silky smooth and soft at 3:1 ratio with plenty of butter.... yummmm! Good eatin! You can get em from yellow or white corn.

You gotta ask to get hash browns here or you GONNA get grits.

What I miss about the NE is not being able to get Scrapple. Now that I look forward to when I come up there. We can buy it in the stores but no restraunts serve it.

That you do... they pretty much devoid of much flavor save the salt and butter. Stick you your ribs for the day though.

Oh and not just for breakfast (much like beer) they make a base for many dishes. Most notably the South Carolina signature dish of Shrimp and Grits.

or sausage, or eggs, pepper, salt butter. Basically you can put anything in grits.

You have the same problem I have, you were born North of the Mason-Dixie Line, it is genetic, you cannot, without much training, like grits.

I have happily excepted this fact, and always get hashbrowns.
