    That's great looking.

As soon as I finish my mech project(about a month) I'll definately take one off your hands.

    Very cool.

FYI Colin just got back to me, and the bodies are not quiet ready for release. Apparentely there are some bugs in the process that need to be worked out.

  15. #135
theres not exactly bugs.. but there are a few very minor changes which will result in some tweaking/testing to go before more are made..

glad ya like it Rikkter! good to meet ya too.
    Hows the 3.2 working?

as for 3.2, need to work on my walking the trigger more, i got a very quick burst one time that was insanely fast, but i can't do it again. but i've only noticed i that in hybrid theres a big difference.
oh, another difference was that ihad to buy another half case of paint.

    edit:

    better pictures now:

    Question

    Colin,

If we already have a stock rail would that affect the price of the body and rail? Sorry if this was mentioned already but my tired eyes missed it...Thanks!

If you send in your own Emag rail, I will take off $35.

I should be starting a new thread in here and/or in the dealers area with most all these details closer to when these become available.

I cleaned out a lot of my inbox-- sorry to those who got rejected there. you can also always email me through here or directly to colin at deadlywind dot com (sorry been getting a lot of spam lately.. trying to reduce the apperance of an email address. your a human, you can figure out how to send it correctly. )

    out!

    Weight

I havent really looked through the whole thread but i am going to ask the question anyways. Do you know how heavy this new body is going to be? Because if it is for the E-mag it should be made light otherwise it might now get good marketing even though it does look SWEEEETTTTT!!!!!

its pretty light. i can't give you exact weight cause i dont have a scale to do that..
the rail isn't milled in the middle to be ULE so(least mine wasn't), doing that will make it even lighter.

you will notice a incrediable difference with this body in weight. its so much lighter than when i had the old stainless steal no-rise on my emag.. i picked someones stock emag up, basically which mine was, and wow. bigggg difference.

I wouldn't bet on the final version's rail being ULE'd. My only reason for thinking that is because the Dallara Body/Rail package doesn't have the ULE'd rail.

As an FYI my Dallara rail weighted around 1/2 an oz less than stock before being ULE'd
