p8ntball is right. Lexan is what bulletproof glass is made out of.
Admittedly, it didn't require as much smarts or advanced milling as some of these might have, but hey I'm proud of it:
wow!
This thread is awesome Keep them coming
EDIT: Is that even considered a paintball marker? lol

We started work on the marker in 94, the first proto's were high psi(400psi)Roger and I still use them, they were a automag/autococker hybred, it out performed anything in its day but the high tolerances made production (cnc) a nightmare so we moved to low psi.
Those two pic were two of the earlier low psi markers before procaps signed a manufacturing deal and wanted the body change to what the Matrix is now(easily extrudable) the manual model was made first then sent to aardvark to install the electro package but we never got it back to update the manual bolt kit to the performance level of an electro solenoid 4way cycling instead of a manual 4 way, procaps and aardvark worked on the changes themselves and the Matrix was then released...
Now I'd be impressed if we could dig up one of the "official" "GOTCHA" paper uniforms too! I've got one of those guns here somewhere... I'd love to actually try to get a paintball out of it too, but I don't think you can get the drums anywhere.Originally posted by Jack & Coke

The Badger is an Australian designed and made semi auto paintball marker which uses a blow forward mechanism that is similar in operation to that used in the Auto-Mag. They have been in production in Australia for around two years now...

I would love to know what's going with that marker, if anyone knows. I'm fairly confused by it. I'm thinking it's someone's completely homemade paintball gun, which is pretty cool.Originally posted by Jack & Coke

-That's exactly what it is.Pretty sure it was a gun used for shooting squibs on movie sets.
It's a "semi production made" Special-Effects airgun, designed to shoot 11/16" balls for various purposes. It's completely pneumatic/mechanical, has both full-auto and semiauto, and a 20-round (as I recall) spring-fed magazine.
ROF is adjustable, velocity is adjustable and it runs on "shop air" level compressed air.
Bacci has the website for the fellow who makes them- or made them anyway- and it gives some details. It is NOT designed to use on the field, it's purely meant for shooting "spark balls" and other SFX projectiles, including glass balls (which shatter against brick or walls to simulate bullet strikes) or fake-blood-filled balls, and so on.
Way back when ('86 ish) it was one of the only such guns the FX people would use, from an adapability and reliability standpoint. Nowadays the same FX guys will use anything from PMI-3s to Raptors.
FX balls are still about the same though.
Doc.
Great info!!!!!
thanks Doc!
btw, Doc, what's your favorite "strange looking" gun?
