Am I the only one excited by the fact that this is botom fed. I mean not even the hose to get hit. I kow the model 98 isn't so sexy, but the fact that nothing sticks up is so cool! Oh well.

It worked on a design that sort of combined a ram driven electropneumatic with a spool valve design. If you want to see how it worked more specifically, you'd have to head on over to the AKA forum on PBN (here is the direct link to the thread). The creator over on PBN has the sn pbjosh.

Here are some lengthy threads that he made detailing the creation of the gun:

I am over here enough, no need to goto pbnation -

Normally I am hunting around Deep Blue though..........

The Shiva in the 'Mystery Gun' link was a Proof of Concept design build mostly to see if the valve would work. It used standard Cocker Pneus, ran closed bolt, and instead of the sear being dropped there was a separate solenoid for the valve.

Currently I have finished off the final drawings, and they are sent out. We are collecting bids from machine shops, and we have several parts bid.

The new version has an interesting layout, which should allow the Shiva to not break any paint from the bolt action, and to stop FSDO.

Not the greatest compared to some of those custom wonders, but heres my stingray I that cost me a grand total of $25 for a fun project.

Its a now-and-then tinker project. I still need to acquire a 98 custom flatline shroud to modify into a foregrip.

    Laxkid,

That cocker body cant be carbon fiber considering carbon fiber cant be made clear, its simply a cut and carved chunk of plastic. It does look sweet though.
    I wish I had a sandwich.
