Ooooooh...nice Reflex Twister. I got to check the Reflex kit out when it was still new technology at BPS (I live in Boston). Always wanted one, never could afford it.

    CLOSED BOLT TIPPY M98

    • it has been suction timed and so far have had not a single problem.
    • the hammmer and internals work in the same manner as before but the difference is in bolt opperation.
    • the bolt has been cut from the rod and attached to an external ram mounted to the side of the gun and operated via the three way in the trigger frame.
    • i will need to incoperate a trigger guard and the gun is completely unfinished.
    • no paint and no milling done except for removing the tippmann name or the left body halve and the warning on the right side.
    • the mounted parts are in using jb weld and it has not been sanded and finished so the gun as now has a very rough redneck look that for some perverted reason i have fallen in love with.

    Very interesting

Since the ram is only responsible for chambering the ball, my guess is that it can be set low enough to pinch balls without messing up the gun's timing cycle.

I also wonder if it now shoots "flatter" and "longer" and "more accurate" like the autococker? You know... all that "closed bolt" magic stuff?

    The Saint

Ever wanted one gun to do it all? Here you go, I call it "The Saint" after the cool old cold war spy novel character. Take a look:

    In stock class pistol format.

    Stock class rifle format.

    Open class format.

A shot of the trigger group milling and the "color matched" emblem in the DYE stickies. Who else thinks these grips would be better names "Squishies"?

Here's a look at the direct feed rail. It's got Angel threads and a KAPP low-rise.

    List-o-Features
-CCI Phantom Stock Class w/45 frame
    -'03 series DYE "squishies"
    -6" CCI barrel
    -15" custom barrel
-'Streamliner' undercocking with clear pump handle
-Direct feed rail system with KAPP low-rise
-'Bullet-Block' SC feed with built in CCI bucket changer
    (takes 10rd tubes direct)
-Bobbed valve with PPS micro gage
    -Graphite T-stock
    -CCI bottomline
    -Lightly milled trigger group
    -Blue Dust anodize (R5)

    Also included
    -OEM parts kit
    -OEM manual
    -extra micro line
    -Nelson spring kit
    -CCI Detent rings
    -Extra KittenLickin'(tm)

Built from all new parts, has fired exactly 50 rounds to prove both feeds. Very comfy as a pistol too, points very naturally.

What happened to Doc's gun with about 5 inline regs, 6 LPR's, other random stuff everywhere? That was a pimped out marker.

Wow. Palmer finally made a Lever action. Does anyone know who owns it or which Palmer made it? I would have thought he would have imitated mine over a decade ago. But I guess this kind of thing is only getting popular recently.

    Wonderful thread by the way.

P.S. This owner can spin his like the Terminator for that was my inspiration.

    Hey Weltman!

    you mean this one?

You have some really cool custom guns. Did you build them yourself? ...and what's the story behind them? (i.e. the duel emags on the tank, and your lever action)

    thanks,

    GP, nice!!!

    Love the lefty grips too!

  22. #172
That one is Rolando's. It's amazing how many people notice lefty and southpaw grips.

Hey Jack I also wanted to tell ya that those pics of your buzzard look freakin awesome, I saw them on another fourm, and it was party what drove me to buy a buzzard myself. I got a Red/Black fade one, but I don't think it counts as strange

Works pretty damn well infact. Seems to be faster than stock anyways. Just wish I had a SS 3 way shaft for it to get rid of the brass one.

Also added a blue ghost ring for the customer too.

    enjoy

Every so often I get an idea of a fun gun to build. I say fun because it is almost never an upgrade. Usually it's just heavier, pump or stock class or generally in the downward direction of technology with the possible exception of the E-mags. But they are fun. Since fun is the reason that I play in the first place I think I am on the right track. This has been going on since 1990 starting with my 68 Special. I can't think of a gun I have ever owned that I was completly happy with out of the box. Even if it's just cutting off the barrel. Justice(my lever action rifle) looks a bit crude but it has charm since it is one the first extensive modifications that I made. The E-mags were a sponsorship for my Automagnus tank from Tom Kaye. It was a one year sponsorship that has now expired and I have since been unable to get a reply from him.

I'll post some new creations soon.
