So how bad really are halos at detecting dark paint? I use big ball alot and sometimes its got a purpleish shell. I wonder if it would have trouble with this. Anybody here have any experiences with their halo they'd like to share.

I've used orange/black shell paint and it works fine.

The only time my friend has had a problem with his Halo's eyes was when they were really dirty. Never had a problem with dark paint (we shoot Cobra Eggs, which have a black shell).

I think the only reason they say not to use black paint is because Odyssey cant give their GUARUNTEE on it... I used Gator Black and it worked just fine.
