Newbie - Nitro and Level 10 questions

    Newbie here,

I currently have a tricked out Spyder and wish to upgrade to an Automag or Minimag. I know what I wish to add on for my future Automag. (ex. double trigger grip, barrel, expansion chamber, bolt) I just have some quick questions about Nitro and Level 10 bolts. Here are my questions.

Why is Nitro better than C02?

Once I make the jump to Nitro, I can't ever use C02 on my gun again, correct?

Is it wise to get an expansion chamber with nitro like it is for C02?

What is the difference between a level 7 and Level 10 bolt?

Does the Level 10 bolt only operate with nitro?

Is the level 10 bolt easy to install? Does it always need tweeking?

Sorry for all of the questions. I appreciate all the help a lot.

    Thanks.

1 Why is Nitro better than C02?

It's more consistant and not as sensitive to changes in tempurature.

2 Once I make the jump to Nitro, I can't ever use C02 on my gun again, correct?

    Sure you can.

3 Is it wise to get an expansion chamber with nitro like it is for C02?

    no.

4 What is the difference between a level 7 and Level 10 bolt?

L10 bolt is a mechanical anti chop, do a search, you'll find tons of info.

5 Does the Level 10 bolt only operate with nitro?

    Nope.

6 Is the level 10 bolt easy to install? Does it always need tweeking

Yes it's easy to install, it needs tweaking intitially, but after it's set just keep it lubricated.

    Oh, and welcome to AO.
