I could explain why, but everyone reading this has already made up their mind and isn't interested in learning why, or already knows why.Originally posted by mcveighr
Piece of cake, the manual is kind of confusing but if you have any questions, people on here will be more than happy to help.

THE OFFICIAL WORD:
We still sell them, lots of guys use them in tournaments and we keep telling you they are ok unless you screw them up yourself.
Overpressuring the marker so it bounces just screws up your bolt and sear and makes you think you are better than you really are. If your buddies believe ancient rumors every time they hear them then they are dumber than they think they are.

DB you need a brutal *** beating! Not only do you have zero idea of what you are talking about consider for a moment your hateful tone on this board.Originally posted by FallNAngel
Yes. When you go to bunker someone (or get bunkered by someone) do you want them to put one ball into you each time they pull the trigger, or 3-4 each trigger pull. Do you want them to be able to sweetspot and go pretty much full auto all over your back?Originally posted by SprayingMango
I will roll my eyes at you all I want, it makes me feel good to do so. If you call the frienships I've built and the great people I've met here a "Cult" then so be it.

Mounting the valve on a gun which is basically a two foot long lever and then diving into a bunker is an overall bad idea. Only ONE regulator on the market has a fail safe shut off if the reg breaks off. Three letters, starts with A, you can guess the rest.

The big issue with a light weight mech trigger is not the trigger. The problem is that all the electros get their incredible firing rates from switch bounce, not finger pulls. My opinion is that an incredible mech trigger would still be blown off because it couldn't put out the paint like a cheater board. If tournament rules would really stick to one shot per pull.... Oh Baby it would be an new day!

No other industry in the world uses inline threads the way we do because of this very problem. They all use some form of 90 degree fitting. Why we do I will not get into because I have vented enough in other threads today.

Building a better mouse trap does not work. What you need to do is find the guy in charge of "the next buzz word" and kill him.

I am super frustrated by the paintball communitys (larger not AO) lack of interest in the big politics going on inside the industry.

There is obviously a problem. The solution to any problem is not just ignoring it, as you suggest. Paintball, like any sport, is built on integrity. We need integrity back into the game. Whether its the clothing, the attitude, the refs, the organization, the sponsors.....

Detect switch noise and queue a shot or two? By definition that's firing more times that you pull the trigger, and therefore by current NPPL standards it's a "cheater"- and dozens of guns have those features right out of the box.

Nowadays everyone thinks they can do 16 or 18 or 22/sec; Even with techniques like walking or raking, I highly doubt most players could hit those speeds without the "electronic help" designed into most boards.

They just say "well my gun shoots 24 BPS". I tell them to look down at their two fingers and if they think each one can hit a trigger 12 times a second they need medication. It is not reasonable. IT all boils down to 24 BPS is not possible without bounce.Originally posted by badinfo
I have been around guns all my life and find the lack of basic gun safety at most paintball events rather frightening.
