    AGD's "Less Lethal" FN303...

Camera and gun have only just co-incided so here she is...

First of all read the owners manual!!!

    doh...

    Second heed the warnings...

Trust me if you don't it hurts like ^&*( and it's remarkably easy to get your fingers in there... ouch.

Next make your own ammo... it helps working somewhere you can make anything you can imagine (and CAD model up...)

Learn rapidly that at 400fps the ammo will go through a LOT of stuff. And that without a heavy nose, spin ammo, spins... and goes in all directions. Note to self, make ammo with hollow nose to fill with lead....

Now when taken apart (obviously after reading the owners manual ) it looks like I may be able to fit an RT valve into the gun... and with a little remote hose and regulation actually be able to use it to shoot paintballs. Any comments Tom?

You might be able to stuff a valve in there but the bolt stroke is longer and you would have to move the whole assembly forward. Then again with your machine shop you might be able to machine a longer power tube for the stock xvalve. That would allow it to work with the same trigger geometry.

You have to use weighted rounds for them to spin right. Shoot round balls for testing.

Wow thats a lot more compact than most other less than lethal launchers I've seen. I've always thought it was better to have a separate "gun" unit like this too. The beanbag shotgun rounds never seemed like that great of an idea.

Some people have all the luck...

If you can convert it to be field legal, that would be the coolest...

Anywho, nice little setup, are you going to actually convert it to the paintball shooter setup? That would be so hotness, id take it over that...whatever you designed..Empire Timmy or whatever?

    scopes

I have a lead to get the EOtech h511.NL-FN Holographic Sight with Less-Lethal Reticle for this "less Lethal " weapon for a LOT cheaper than the retail price. They are kind of cool, they have a different sight pattern that actually allows for lob so you can hit center mass at a distance.

Like Cryer said, on the right side.

Heres a less professional pic of it from its right side. Pic of right side at TeX-Ball. I have no idea who that odd-ball holding the gun is though...

    Simon,

Ok, CD full of TexBall pics of you and one OC round on it's way down to you next week....just tell me how much for the rounds

I never did take pics of my FN....maybe I should...but it looks no different than that one...so...maybe I won't.

If you do get a standard valve to work in there without any serious modifications, let me know...I think we have ourselves a tommy gun for Shatner

is that tank a c02 tank??? can it be filled with nirogen or would nitrogen work in it? cuz the RT valve would need the n2 action

It's nitro. And if I remember correctly, dumps the full tank pressure to the valve.

Tom's first advice- "Don't shoot it at animals. Bad results."

Simon- Newt, Mango and I were just talking about this thing last night.

Next time I'm at the field with one of you guys... Would you shoot me with that? from a little ways off, of course, but I've always wondered what it would be like to be subdued with riot control gear, but I lack the balls to actually start a riot...:o
