    SFL Pictures and History Thread

No its not a "POST PICTS OF YOUR SFL" thread I know that exists here. There is also this old thread listing (at a time) the owners of the known 35? SFLs

    https://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=91439

Never the less, that thread is rather antiquated and what images are left are not current.

As I have already posted in this forum I am rebuilding my gallery pages and one of the sections I am most interested in filling in is the SFL E-Mag section. I would really like help in hunting down the as many as we can, collecting as many pictures as we can on each one (from their original setup, their cahnge of owners and re-anoes) sort of a timeline of each one and where they are now.

Yes I suspect it will be a slow process and perhaps never complete but it's fun to look is it not? And how nice would it be to have a place to see them all?

Also I have spoken to Kila (the mastermind behind my SFL) and he may or may not have all the pictures of the markers conception and milling. If any of you packrats saved those images that used to be on his "Christmas Chimera" thread, I would be most grateful for them.

Better post up before you come and get me.

Timeline. Bought it new over 3 years ago and have had it since. It's undergone some pretty dramatic improvements. Eye, software upgrades, and Tom was nice enough to hook me up with an X-Valve and a X-mag vert breech. It also has a European unmilled warp breech. The whole thing went to anno last year and went from it's original gloss pewter to a semi gloss blue grey.

    limited edition is my guess
shoctech made stuff such as micro e-mags and such but in larger quantities, kinda like how you can buy super ultimo limited edition dvd's but these are just so special only 35 were made
    - 68 classic, customizing in the works
    - Black/Blue VSC Phantom from WWA

    How many?

Why doesent someone just e-mail shocktech and ask them how many Sfl mags they cranked out, then work from there?

because you are the all knowing of sfl's right?

the closest number we have been able to find out was 25-35. no one actualy has been able to find out the exact number. rumore has it that Shocktech still has some bodies sitting in storage. Robagd asked shocktech a while agao and the number he was given was 25, when loadsm5 asked, he was told 35, so that is the spread we look at. im sure we have probabally accounted for everyone at one time or another, but with people changing ownerships of them as fast as they possibly can, there is no way to really track em. only way to do it would be havew some one purchase every one ever made.

Still to this date, i havnt found another grey dust sfl like the one i used to formally own
