We need to blow up a picture for this year...

Anyone with access to a large printer do me a favor? We really need to blow this up, and hand it to Shatner for "Disgracing the family" durring opening ceremonies / smacktalk session.

I hear he likes horses too.

I can get it printed up to 8x12. I also have the high res of that pic as I took it. if someone can print it larger, let me know and I'll send ya the file.

Here ya go... HUGE file...and man, look at that camera shake. I am glad I invested in better glass.

I wonder how much it would cost to get them "poster" size, cropped for detail, and hand them out as AO's gift to "Da Shaft!"

    Say...

"Why that Shaft is a dirty..."
    "SHUT YO MOUF!"
    "I'm just talkin' about SHAFT!"

I don't think a poster would look good as there was a lot of camera shake. It is really blury even small. But, if you would have come up with the idea a few weeks ago, I can get 24x36 prints for $20.

That's why I'm glad I got the image stablized Canon S1-IS. I won't be able to blow it up as large but I can take it on the field.

Well, I was using a POS 300mm lens last year. Just after the event last year, I got me a 70-200 2.8L IS USM lens. It's a bit big and a mono-pod is pretty much needed, but give me crisp, clear, and non-shake photos

Yea, but you got to love the lens. Yes it is heavy, but it is sweet.

I have it too. If you couldnt figure that out.
Try as I might, I can't understand why people keep going out of their way to walk into a paintball that I have just shot into the air.

while you could tile it over many 11x17 pages, and mount it on foam core

you could also print up a ton of 3x5s on 3M sticker stock...

    Ok, here's a thought.

We get a printout, crop for subject, and print it out on regular paper.

We then color photocopy it, say, 500 times. And just... creatively... tape it up places? You know, like the Bill "The Shaft" Shatner's base? On the busses that go out to the fields? And so on?

I can get it on regular bond paper, size 48 X 36. It will be black and white though, and I'd need it converted to a TIFF file.

The preliminary one Smoke and I did today looks awesome. Its black and white, but it gets the point accross.

If you have any other pics, we take them in pdf format as well as tiff format

Any format that will show up in Kodak Imager will work, but we like PDF's and TIFF's best.

If anybody wants anything printed on 48 X 36 paper (4 foot by 3 foot ) let us know BEFORE 5 PM ON THURSDAY. Remember though, it will be in black and white and will look kinda pixilated up close, but at a distance it will look cool.

Here's what me and 1483 cooked up. Mind you, this is on both 17 X 11 and 48 X 36.

Because we're limited to black and white, we took a pink marker and colored in the paint mark on his leg.
