AGD in the Old Days, Pics from the Attic

    All,

While going through the pics trying to find the Dual Mag I scanned in a bunch of stuff you probably never saw before. Here are some old school pics where men were men and paintball was played in the woods!!

Bet you didn't know we were the first to have a custom semi!!

More of the truck and the cafe we used to setup. The lower picture is when we introduced the fiber grip frame. It was strong enough to pic up a small car!!

Here is another test where we hung a Mazda for the press at AGD.

Here is our poster girl at the tourney, notice the pin up in the background!
(we just found a few of these but don't ask for them).

Here is where it all started in a two room shop over a welding business. This was when we were just starting to work on guns. At this time we were making plastic masks for PMI.

Damn we have been around forever....

No we don't have it any more. The stickers started pealing after a few years and we had to make the decision to either redo it or let it go. The problem was that no one noticed it any more so we let it go.

october 21 1994 that wouldn't be the lively nashville tourney would it???? Those were the days. I think I missed my wifes b-day 4 times due to these darn paintball functions.

    Well Tom,
With or without the truck, you have come so far. It must be bone chilling to look at those pics from the old pmi plastic mask days to where you are today. Quite alot of accomplishments. That is so cool that you have had so much success and it only seems to be snowballing which is awesome. congrats!

Hey Tom, since you already read our minds about asking for the posters, maybe you can just post online copies of it. And maybe more pictures of the poster girl... heheh...

LOL Phil! I thought the same thing when I saw the picture.... Then I read the caption and saw that the poster continued the "big" theme.

    Thanks for posting Tom.

Tom: "Hmm, I wonder if these frames will hold up a Mazda Miata"

AGD Crew: "I don't know, Tom... who thinks of these weird things?"

Tom: "Ok guys, lets try. Mike, go get your car. Jay, you go get some chains and a hoist. I'll get the camera."

Did it go something like that, Tom?

yep just like that (AGD edit)

If you are intrested in those posters KayleAGD had some for sale he found while cleaning up his storage area.

They were priced I think at $15. Maybe Kayle will comment on how many he may have left for sale.

    SRF????

Who got the AGD sponsored ride? My father raced spec racers until a bad crash six years ago. I'm getting into it now, autocrossing my XR4ti. The idea of an AGD sponsorship that could include paintball and racing is perhaps the most exciting thing I've heard in years. I've got a way to go in improving my skills in both, but I'm very interested in what sponsorship AGD has done in racing.

    Later,
    XR

Post some pics of the dual mag. That was a cool marker. I played against that marker back in 92-93. Does the guy in vegas still have it. I cant remember his name. I do know he played for the Sin Sity Raiders. They helped me to decide on an automag over a cocker.
