Warbeak - Perhaps. You'll need to hide and watch for a little while.
100$+ isent bad, little more than most but I gotta pay for quality.

I just gotta get AGD to start making SLUG bodyies again

    Busy as hell.

In the last six weeks, I've had one (1) day off.

I was going to go play PB at Xtreme today, but I had to work.

I really am working on these things when I can, but I just don't get much time off anymore.

On the up side, Goldie got back with me last week and told me what was going on with the boards.

They are coming in a couple of weeks, the PCB's had to be refabbed so everything would work as designed.

    Don't be a jackass.

I'm working on the first one's frame to rail adapter, trying to make that interface as smooth as possible. I've got the CAD very close to how I want it, but I still need to make the code and actually cut it. I've got the VA mounted, but I have to custom make one of the fasteners, so that still needs to be done. I'm also still pondering how I want to do the eye covers on that Dallara. Very tricky business there.

AND, I'm still waiting on boards.

We shall see if those show up when they are supposed to.

I'm not running away, and you'll also note that I am not taking any more orders either. I'll get these markers delivered before I take any more work (emergencies and the like not withstanding).

If it looks like AGD is going to tank on me, I will get all the parts bought and warehoused to make sure I can deliver these markers, come hell or high water.

Unless I get killed somehow, I'll get them done.

Well, that was supposed to be funny.

I've been holding off buying the bodies and such until that marker's number comes up, so the buyer can change their mind up until that point.

I know several of these have changed hands already, and the new owner doesn't always want what the original order asked for. If I'd already had the parts setting here, I'd be screwed and/or their order would be set in stone.

I don't think AGD is going anywhere.

Thank you Grom, I am very sorry it took so long to get into your hands.

In other news, I spent about five hours last night with my nose to the CAD stone, but happily, I think I have the eye covers and the rail adapter design finished for marker #1.

I'm going to take a fresh look at it tonight and if I don't see any obvious crap-ups I'm going to start on the CNC code for both.

Hopefully over the weekend I can find enough time to knock them out into real metal. It all depends on how long the coding takes me, and what else comes up in the mean time.

    But hey, progress is progress.

Yes progress is progress, and seriously updates are wonderful, with you I in no way think you are running away with my money. Unfortunatly even if you get number one done quickly, and the next 3 are a breeze I know that mine will probalby take quite a bit of time too due to the Karta body and making eye covers for that. But seriously updates are great I do appreciate them and can't wait to see number one finished up.

Keep up the good work Ryan.

Actually, I killed two birds with one stone on this Dallara.

I made the eye covers such that I can fit them onto any body I can machine a flat face into (for the cover to set in), so they'll work on the Karta too (it's got more meat than a Dallara has).

I plan to cut about four sets of these covers when I run them so I have spares, and a set waiting for your Karta.

On occasion, even I plan ahead.

Planning ahead, something I still need to learn how to do. I guess I'll look into doing that when I graduate and get a real job next year. But definatly cool that those covers will work for the karta as well.

I'm still waiting on the marker I bought.
And then I of course have to have one of his Two Tube Vikings .

Was over and talked to Dive today.
He said he is getting real close on having some boards ready to ship to Ryan .

I asked him to hurry. I been waiting over a year now.

But good news is happy dance time nonetheless.

    You talking about Goldie?

    If so, WOOOO FRIGGIN HOOOOO!

I was getting ready to rattle his cage again, since his last estimate was "two weeks" and that's been nearly six weeks ago now.

This would be so much easier if I didn't need control boards.

He also said it would fit in the new Ultimate mech frames (as well as jump start your car, uplink to gps, and play mp3's )

Seriously though, I hope its everything he says its going to be. Mag needs more board choices.
