Hyper frame good or bad for Classic valve?

Hey can any of you guys tell me the benefit of a CF hyper frame on a classic valve.Dont have the money yet to get a Xvalve

It really isn't a problem as long as you don't shoot over like 15 bps and you use HPA. Also I have read that it is better to use it with the supplied hyperframe on/off.

ULT is lighter though.. and i think even centerflag recommends it over theirs, because the hyperframe was pre-ult (I believe, correct me if im wrong).

ULT should be better. And I made a vid of a classic valve shooting paint at 20bps fullauto, so I think it works just fine.

Not at the moment. I could email them to you (about 3.5 megs each, 2 files). Send me a PM with your email address if you want me to email them to you.

I have one on a classic with the Hyperframe on/off and I'm shooting CO2 with a remote line. It shoots fine.

you have to watch out for the older classic valves since the depth of the on/off hole wasn't drilled to exact specs. If the pin is too short it will chew up the bolt.

That is a stock minimag. The tank is a preset PMI 68/3K. It has a level 10 bolt with the short spring (the middle & long spring will not work). The on/off is the centerflag on/off with their "long" pin.

Mine ran flawless for quite some time. Flatline HPA and warpfeed with classic valve and I was never disappointed.

    Preset to what?

  14. #14
I'm pretty sure PMI tanks are preset to about 800.

I've never measured it, but it should be around 800psi.

PMI tanks are supposed to be preset to 850.

I run a spydermag conversion with ULT and love it. Its got level 10 and is fairly efficenet. Last weekend I went to a big game and was able to get slightly over 1000 shots per 68ci 3k fill. Since its a classic I can also shoot deeper into the tank, I can keep shooting untill the tank pressure is under 500PSI without any noticable shootdown. I've only pushed it to 16bps since I know my loader can do that and I don't really need anything faster.

WoW the video is sick. I can't believe I spent 225 on a Xvalve for my Karta and Hyperframe when I could have used a Classic valve.....

The xvalve is lighter, has level 10, more consistant, and just all around better. Also its much more cool.
