    Custom mag bodies?

I know there are a few out there, but I can't keep them straight

My classic mag is well . . . old. And considering I'm thinking of turning it into a pneumag, I thought I might get a new body as well. But like I said, I can't keep them straight.

Could some of ya'll list them? (and include pics please? )

Well, I don't have pics of them, but here goes:

ULE mainbody by AGD (and Pariah and Exile bodies by Rogue, which are essentially milled down ULE's). ULE on my former pneumag below:

    Pariah by RPG

    Exile by RPG

    IT body by Xtreme Depot

Micromag body by PTP, several different versions made (this is a body/rail combined).

    Karta by Deadlywind

    Dallara by Deadlywind

Minimag (basically a 68 Classic body with an extended front "shroud").

    Chord V1

    Chord V2

The old SS RT Pro bodys

And then of course, the SFL Emag, the Xmag, and so on.

    Xmag

    SFL (heavily milled)

Not to up an old thread, but will all of those bodies work on an Emag rail? Or would I have to get a new one?

Pretty much all of them should. The micromag, SFL, and Xmag bodies you'd only need your lowers of course, but other than that they should. And depending, some of the old SS bodies from factory mags may not fit if your rail.

You're gonna have to find one used somewhere as they're out of production. Every once in a great while one will turn up on b/s/t or ebay.

IIRC most Extreme Depot bodies were not made from AGD slugs... and the tolerances showed... beware of them...

What? Isn't that what happened? No one bought them because they thought they were too expensive because you had to buy the body then have it milled.

Although I've never actually owned one, I heard the same thing. There was a post up ages ago about that...

/I'd prefer a Dallara or Karta, anyway...

That wasent directed at you it was directed at the people who said slugs were to expensive then (when they were like 150$)

Now people are shelling out 200-300$ for them...

AGD quit producing the slug bodies. They were being bought, I am sure Deadly Wind was buying a good number.

You must be a PBN refugee.

If you would read the entire thread you would see that he is inquiring as to why there are no more aftermarket bodies. I stated the fact as it is. No AGD slugs no aftermarket bodies.

    sluggo

hmmm Nicad if you are looking... what would it cost to get a sluggo turned into a karta body if I could happen to get my hands on them?

Anyone else try and machine sluggos or bodies from scratch ever?
