Proper Emag Bumper?

I have an Emag valve w/ Level X.

The "stock" soft clear bumpers get chewed up pretty fast. I seem to recall BlackVCG experimenting with different bumper compounds, greasing them, glueing them, etc.

So what's the concensus? What is the "propa" Emag bumper set-up?

I superglue the clear ones on the valve. They last a little longer.

Dont use superglue. It will eat the urethane bumper. Use 2 part epoxy or Loctite 380.

just use the blue ones that the classic valve uses, i dont think i've ever had one of those need replacing

Yes. AGD actually recommends the blue bumpers as they are a stronger material and last MUCH longer.

blue bumper lasts longer, but lvl 10 doesnt seem to be able to be set up quite as soft with them.

but the alternative is chewing up a bumper about every case of paint or 2 - and when that bumper is gone, you will have some serious performance and breakage issues.

What's the difference between the blue classic bumpers and the x/rt-valve bumpers? They have different properties, but are the same material. Are they different thickness, or do they have a different "impact absorption" property?
