Garth,
Is the internal Micro LPR and the frame pnematics rebuildable? Will you be offering O ring kits? Thanks.

O i will be drilling it my self...i am a cheap bastard...
: )
so those instructions will definatley come in handy : P
I LOVE MAGS ...and hate low pressure output tanks....and spyders
The frame comes with no hose. It's like $1 a foot I think.Originally Posted by TwilightG
If you want to modify the frame, then yes another LPR can work. But you'd have to do machine work.
Good question about the trigger. I ordered a black frame and I'd like to know what color the trigger is.
Meh, went ahead and ordered one anywayOriginally Posted by warbeak2099
I probably won't do any drilling/milling to preserve resale value. Not to mention that I only have a dremel and don't trust myself.
I'm still eager to see what the final production will look like. I know it's been mentioned a few times that there will be additional refining.
Ah well.. gotta wait till end of December anyway and then until Spring before I can play again
I swear I remember reading that it WOULD come with hose. But I am not going to re-read 18 pages to find out.Originally Posted by warbeak2099
I'm sure garth will remind us.
The frames are prepped ready for an external LPR with at least 3" of LPR feeding out from the front of the frame. If you opt to go with an internal LPR, then you cut it shorter.
The grip frame has a cavity already milled for our Micro-LPR but you can fit whatever LPR you like instead.
Production photos won't be available until production units are made. It will not change much from the pre-production other than additional cosmetic milling.
The trigger will be silver for both black or silver frames.

Of course the internal pneumatics are rebuildable. Oring kits will be available. You should not need any rebuild for a long time unless you shoot a lot of paint.

All I need now is some dimensions to locate the hole between the mounting bolts, my father-in-law's Bridgeport and, Oh yeah; wait for the end of December to get here.
OK I am an idiot when it comes to any sort of drilling/modding.
The idea of this product appeals to me....but Im not going to take a drill to an asa...because..I know myself and know I would mess it up.
I know there are a number of people here that can do it if I sent it out.
However...Garf....wouldn't it be good for sales if you had pre-drilled asa's?
If I could get all the parts for this, in one order, ready to go, just hook it up....then I may get it.
I would think I am not alone in this....just a thought for the future. It may be a good idea to buy a bulk of asa's and have them drilled and ready to sell.
I don't mean to sound like I'm flaming nor do I intend to say this to stir things up... and this isn't directed toward anyone in particular.
But does anyone else other than me think that some of us might be a little too demanding?
I mean, as I see it, G-Force is an established company that is mass-producing parts (albeit, a small batch) for the Automag. I think they have done a great job in providing detailed information of what is included/not included and explaining the features of the part.
However, this is not some guy doing work in his basement or garage for a few extra bucks.
I agree that custom work would be great, but this would be a huge amount of extra work and time that they simply cannot provide. I wouldn't think of ordering a part from AGD, CP, or [insert part manufacturer of choice] and then ask them to make modifications to work with my equipment before shipping it.
Regarding the use of 3rd party asa's, I think it's great that they even provide this option. Most other mass produced parts require a considerable amount of fabrication which void warranties, etc. whereas this frame is made to accept other aftermarket parts.
It's been explained that they cannot distribute their own on/off asa nor can they sell other brands which makes offering pre-drilled asa's out of the question.
I really don't mean to rant and I know I'll probably get some flak for this post, but I think G-Force has been more than cooperative and patient in dealing with our little niche market. We should be so honored to even get new 3rd party products at this stage of the Automag's life.
It also works out quite well that some members are offering their own services to assist our little community in doing the drilling for a small fee.
Sorry.. just had to get that off my chest. I have already ordered one and I am eagerly awaiting December 28th to receive it (yeah, I paid the cheaper shipping)
G-Force, keep up the good work!! You'll need one of these once these frames finally ship.

Well said, TwilightG.
I've already picked up the CP ASA and am patiently waiting. Once the frame and adapter arrive and we know exactly where to drill the hole, I'll be sending the ASA off to whichever wonderful person is willing to drill it for me.
Until then, I'll just hold tight, wait for pics of the fully milled final version, and wait for the reviews of the people who will be greeting them before me.
Way to go, Garf.
I hope this venture is sucessful enoughfor GForce to have made it worth it.

Yes there may be some nit picking...but he came here asking for ideas.
As for my comment about the ASA...I did not see the post that said that they could not sell them.
My statement was simply to say that a complete package may sell better.
i am wondering how the lpr you are selling is going to connect to the air port in the bottom of the frame.
i would like to know as i am not sure if i am going to go with an external or internal lpr and would like to be able to buy one lpr and be able to use either configuration.
also can you add to your order later and have everything shipped at the same time for one shipping cost.
An external LPR doesn't connect through the air port in the bottom of the frame. You mount the LPR on your vertical adaptor and it runs through that and into the gripframe above the trigger. The air line through the bottom is only to run air to an internal LPR.Originally Posted by BlueMagRT

if however they don't mount the internal lpr that way it may not be able to be used externally.
Ah, no I don't think the special internal LPR they are using will be able to be mounted externally.Originally Posted by BlueMagRT
