    Tank hydro question...

My Armageddon is dated 7/99 and so needs to be rehydroed... but I have a question, is my tank good until the end of the month, or did it have to be rehydroed as of 7/1?

    as of 7/1

if i remember right that is.... best bet ask a local scuba/dive shop, your local fire department, or a fire exstingusher(yup i cant spell worth beans) company.... they can give you a deffinate answer.... but i'm pretty sure that a hydro expires on the first day of the month marked on it

Yep, If the field or place that fills it pays attention to the date, they should turn it down and not fill it.

OK, only a slightly different note, does anyone know the DOT number for the fiber wrapped tanks that now have a 5 year re-inspection date or know of a website for the info would be even better.

    The five year numbers for:
    Luxfer tanks = DOT-E 10915
    SCI tanks = DOT-E 10945
These two only become 5 year tanks after their first hydro. (That's how I read the DOT documentation.)
