Im thinking I want a vertical ASA now to match.......

If you get a emag body and buy the extra mech mag front you can install a vert or vert grip. I will have prices for all by mid week. They are working on the pricing now.

Depending on Price, I may want to add a mech set up to my order...
Is it too late for that?

    Swamps Order

Mark me down for one E Micro and Two of the Micro Bodies.

Mark me down for two of the vertical grips.

Also what part will be needed to convert to a warp. I will need three of warp feednecks if you will be selling those.

Yeah, now I'm confused too... It may be hollow and not a gas through but the drawing shows it as it'd go on the standard vertical ASA.

    My thought too...

Tracy or Russel, can you clear up the confusion? I think we all see that it's a vert ASA then the non-gas through grip screws in. Is that right?

    Tracy,

My order looks good but, like the other's, I need help understanding all the parts I signed up for.

I paid the entire amount for the body and just let me know what the balance is I owe you for the other parts llike grip/ASA?.

    Thanks,
    Rod

MY BAD!! Sorry I'm a little tired. You will have to have a vert ASA to put any gas thru, grip, etc.... on it including our gadget grip. You don't have to have our grip it is just an option. Sorry guys, I think I am going a little brain dead.

So does this mean that you are only offering a gadget grip, and that the drawing posted on the previous page is it?

What happened to the gas-thru version?

I am assuming the MM front comes with the purchase of an MM body, and the that the EM, MM fronts are extras you can order for convertibility? If so then my order is correct.

    Thanks,

I haven't a clue whats going on with the project, do I really have to read 22 pages to try and figure out whats going on with the project? Sure would be nice if the first post was up to date on whats what.

I tried to post the new stuff on the first page and it went into overload and wouldn't let me. So I really didn't have a choice. Ask any questions you need or I can direct you to the right page so you don't have to sort.

My order is correct for the mm body. I'm not sure about the grip. Will my front grip on my RT pro ULE mount to this body? Depends on the price of the grip as to whether I add one. The color of the body may also be a factor for the grip decision. Also, what are the reasons to get an additional front?

    thanks

Was I supposed to get an ASA with my original order?
Whats the story with the vert grip?
    What is the MM front?
    What is the EM front?

Please add an emicro front to my order. With the two types of fronts I will be able to make my body emag or regular length right?

    FAQ's

I can try to answer some of these, but anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

    As I understand things:

What do I get with my purchase of a body?

    Extra breech $60
    Extra fronts $50
Vert ASA $20 raw $25 ano
Gadget grip $20 raw $25 ano
Strip and ano your 45 frame $35
Strip and ano your frame and battery pack $55
If you want your ASA double tapped $5

45 Frame needs to be RT Pro Style or original mag frame (NO wings) although you can always mill off the wings.
Is there the pressed in steel washer?

What about the Z slot that I know and love?

**Stand by for a full explanation of the bodies**

There are two different bodies. Mech micro (radiused lip) and Emicro (squared lip)

This picture is an emicro body with a mech front (note the squared off bottom lip of the body).

Notice that the very front of the body is squared off just below the block. Russell was thinking about rounding it off to flow better, but the squared off version allows for the EM and MM blocks to be interchangeable on a emicro body and fit flush. You can see why in the rendering of the EMicro front.

The difference between the two is that the EM front has the extension for a battery cover (it's all one piece). Here you can see why Russell went with a squared off body vice the rounded from the mech micromag versions (below).

Bottom line is that if you get both blocks, it is interchangeable between Emag Lowers or a mech/pneu setup. If you go that route, you need to get this specific ASA to mount a vertical grip of your choice. If you have a mech micro body and put the Emicro front on, there will be a small gap due to the radius of the lip.

I think we were all confused on this one for a bit. It's simply this grip that is screwed into the ASA (above). The grip is NOT gas through, but the ASA will be tapped on the side.

Looks like it's a vert ASA or a vert ASA and the grip combo (price difference= $20 for ASA and $20 for grip so $40 for both). The grip was specifically designed to go with the body.

Is the vert ASA tapped or not tapped?

I am considering the gloss black, but the polishing part would have to be extra and not included in the original price as that is sent out. We do our own beadblast at the shop.
There are a lot of Gun Metal Grey versions, what is this version going to look like?
This is a good idea... there will be proofs made.

For just the frame, stripped, polished and ano...$35.00

In order for me to keep the price down, it has to be anno'd together in lots. If the part has to be stripped/blasted/polish I really need to have it at least 1 to 1 1/2 weeks before we are ready to go to ano.
For Emag lowers (battery and frame): $55
    Airwalk + 2 panels: $35
    Other frames anyone was quoted?

Does it come with detents? Does it come with feednecks?

    Tracy,

I need a vert adapter, but not a gadget grip. I do gas through grips on my setups, so neat at the gadget grip looks, I need just the vert adapter.

    Tracy,

My order is correct, but can you add the Vert ASA & Grip? (1 EMicro, 1 Vert ASA, 1 Vert Grip, 1 MM front)

So let me get this right, both the micro and E bodies now have the Squared off front and the only difference is the front module?

Will I be able to mount my front grip from my RT pro to this body? I'm wanting to keep the gas thru / hose configuration I currently have if possible.

yes so now there is only one main body and different fronts now so you can mount it all up and it will all look the same

i dont know if that can be done since the vert ASA isnt gas through if i recall corectly, the grip itself would have to be a tube with one hole on the bottom or low on the side and one at the upper portion of the grip itself. unless you figure out how to oring the main screw hole at the top. which can be done then drill and tap the vert asa portion problem solved.
