It will work as-is and you'll have just enough sticking out to be able to hang your car keys on it... We'll try to remember to get an overall length measurement done today. We did everything possible to make as many parts are as compatible as possible - and since we're talking paintball here I assume that EVERYONE owns a Dremel and a grinder - don't they?

This is the length of the pin from the end of the screw part to the end of the pin.

So Drix decided to drive up and pick up his raw body today. So he officially got the first one so to speak.

He also gave me a peace offtering.

    wine was a good choice!!

Here is the rest of the raw parts waiting to go out once the detents arrive, which I received the tracking info and will be here Wednesday.

It's a chick thing - it was supposed to say "The length of the minor diameter is .500" - Her handwritten notes are sitting right here on her desk at the office and are actually correct.

The only thing is that we thought the .125 diameter of the RT axle was a little flimsy so we beefed it up to 1/4" just to be on the safe side...

I actually had some overnighted (after Tracy left the office) that will hopefully be here on Monday - if not we'll definitely have the ones due in on Wednesday... UPS and Fex-Ex are the ones REALLY making out on this deal...

I figured it was a typo or something.

So we'll have to pop the bushing out of a RTPro sear?

Like Tracy said I had a chance to run up to PTP today- Being one of the more vocal people about our orders I really wanted to meet the people behind the project and push aside the anonymity of the internet and see what was up for myself. I had a great time, and chatting with Forest and Tracy (I have stacks of questions I diddn't get to ask), and even got a tour of the shop and some insight into new and old projects and had a quick chance to give a peace offering. I've come a long way from being so fed up with PTP that I swore I would never do busniess with them again to purchasing a few extras before I walked out of the shop to venture homeword. Although irritated by the timetable, I'm pleased with the results so far (having not assembled the gun to fire it) and I hope everyone else is too when they recieve theirs.

Anyway, with my body in hand I thought I'd answer some questions we had:

    1. The e-mag front block "gap" is .779" long x .102" deep x .056" high- It's really not bad.
    2. The breech to rail gap is .027" (to my best determination, my calipers don't fit in there well)
    3. Rail width is 1.065" height (under breech) is .490
    4. Detent breech dimple: .131 (my ANS detent at .259" tall is the tallest I would go with.
    5. Total body width is 1.380

This gun is WAY smaller than the earlier assembled picture we'd seen- I don't know if it's an optical illusion or just because of the prototype but it's really good lookin.

Anyway! Big thanks to Tracy, Forest, and Zoom I bet you guys can't wait to finish things up. I h

Okay, but as long as the cocker detents pan out on Monday, those are included and we would only need this new sear pin?

I am hoping you post shots of the ano'd bodies before they ship.

A pic of a standard RT Pro sear pin beside the MM 2009 pin would be nice too.

Well, Forest did hand me a 47mm grenade launcher, but sadly it would not fit in my box and I had to leave it there
