tracy id like to change mine to a e-micro setup, no vert asa or grip needed,,

Also have another question, it looks like trigger frames with 'wings' will work without having them milled is this true?

I really wanted to use the gas through the vert ASA like Hgblues even if I had to get a grip from AGD but from what I've read, that's not possible because thay have not drilled & tapped for it..... correct?

Was ther any rationale given as to why the Vert ASA is not dilled & tapped for a gas through???

This thread has gotten entirely too long to keep up with.

    That's actually disappointing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't even the MicroMag 2000 set up with a gas thru vert ASA.

I would be willing to pay extra for PTP to drill & tap for a gas thru and I can epoxy the attaching screw to make it airtight after I get it.

    What say ya???

why epoxy? teflon tape should work or even an oring may be able to be used it just needs to be drilled and tapped and 1/8" npt, then you can still take it all apart without getting freaky with a torch. if you epoxy it in you also kill the abilty to turn the breech cause of the 4 mounting screws and the one big one.

I agree with you totally but was using "epoxy" as an extreme to make my point.

The key point is the need for a gas thru vert ASA and being willing to pay extra to get it.

Whats the story with the vert grip?
    What is the MM front?
    What is the EM front?
A gadget grip has a barrel plug made into the bottom of the grip like this :

I always do a gas thru foregrip setup so that doesnt work for me.

Not to mention that I dont know of any fields that will allow barrel plugs any more.

Now a Pro team barrel bag I'd be interested in.

And maybe a shorty (8" or 10") Armson barrel too.

I want the e-mag style version because I want to put an E-Mag Battery Pack ASA Manifold from luke on it.

Question for luke what fits inside the battery cover? Palmer microrock is a bit too tight.

    Tracy,

Can I actually have both fronts? I am not 100% how I want to set this gun up yet, and I want to keep my options open

    Thanks!

yes the micro rock just doesnt fit but possibly it could be bored out a bit on the sides in the area for it to fit. the one shown in the pics in his dealer thread fits with no issues at all. i still gotta send that in for Luke to look at.

Tracy - I don't see my order on the list. I would like an emicro body, a vert asa, and a MM front. With those three parts, I should be able to switch back and forth between having a mech micro (using my own vert grip) and a e-micro...right?

Vertical and Gadget grip (it doesn't have a barrel plug in it)

    $20 Raw
    $25 Anodized

The extra Front pieces (are a little tricky and a lot of work)

    $50

Wings won't work, but if you have a Dremel handy...

It's all good! I'm sure you have nothing else going on other than 2K9 Micromag!

Ok, you have me on the list correct with what I ordered...however I also fall into the bucket.

There is no difference between someone who orders a mech version with an extra e-mag front, and an emag version with an extra mech front, correct?

Is ano decided or what? Haven't seen a clear answer yet. Gloss black is my preference if it's available...

The next question, is what did I pay you for?! lol. I think I just paid the total for a complete mech body, and the extra front, vert ASA and vert grip are not funded yet.

Edit: Ok looking back through the last few pages, I'm now confused again. Does the vert ASA automatically come with a mech body? If so, that would mean there IS a difference between people who ordered an E body (they get a body and the E front, and would need to pay extra for both the M front and the VASA), and those who ordered an M body (they get a body, M front, and VASA, and would pay extra only for the E front).

    Double

Edit 2: Also, is this coming with a basic cylinder feedneck, or any feedneck at all?
