Uni-body SFL. Chicken or the Egg?

"Pink SFL thing" vs Production SFL body

EDIT: Some of you may have seen this thing before but I wanted to snap a few pics so they can really be compared.

Id love to hear what people think/know about it.

Are you trying to show us the SFL-'clone' someone made out of slug components?

Cos i think we've all seen it.

Looking for information on its history.

"Someone made out of slug components" isn't exactly in-depth information.

Ive only seen 2 or 3 pics of this thing and it was always from the side. Someone, perhaps not you, will appreciate getting to see it from the other angles next to the SFL body.

I thought I remember seeing this long before the slugs were available. It does look like someone with some machining experience was trying to make a clone.

Thats how I remember it also. Although you could get a slug body on a RTpro ULE back in 2004/2005ish...

SFLs didnt sell for crazy prices back then... so why clone one?

Perhaps its not a clone but a ruft draft of styling ideas that eventually became the SFL body... just a thought.

Don' ask questions. It is considered "trolling" in some locations.

I remember seeing it posted on jayloo.com alooong time ago. I liked it until I saw how they milled "AGD" into it and the ano is pretty bad too :-) I doubt that it was created as a rough design for the Unibody SFLs tho.

Please reanodized it... for the love of AO
