    Potential Heat Issues?

I live in Tucson, AZ. Today it was 108 degrees and it's still very early into the summer heat.

How do the ShoeBox's perform under high temperature environments? It get so very hot and dry here that plastics will melt if left in the sun for sometimes under an hour. I'm seriously interested in a ShoeBox, however the heat issues concern me. Should I have concerns about such a dusty/dry climate?

Thanks for any further information available.

I'm not signing up for the initial run. I don't think I can abuse this enough in the near future to be able to give any feedback. Also wrong pressure for me.

Is there a hopeful date to when the 3000psi version will be made available for sale? I need a 'start it and forget it' solution to fill scuba tanks. I don't feel comfortable with putting a regulator on the output.

TK EDIT: 3k's in next run. Lots of people are asking so I cant ignore it.

So has there been any thought or decision as to what the actual shipping carrier will be? UPS, Fed-Ex, USPS...

Or did I read and miss it somewhere?

in my experience fedex seems to take far more care with packages than ups. and I think fedex ground is just as cheap or cheaper. just my own anecdotal experience...

In my experience FedEx just leaves packages lying around in public places (like busy hallways of apt complexes) unless you tell them not to 209384039843049 times. I'd rather my neighbor's sketchy kids didn't wind up with my compressor
