    UPDATE

I heard back from my machine shop on the 26th. The frames are on the second operation, which is where they mill out the big pockets and trigger guard.

I have asked for pictures,... I am hoping to have them next week some time.

$20 more,.. you can have another color.

All depends on the number of items being anodized that day in that color. They will work with me.

Here is the gun that will be featured in the video everyone has been waiting for.

I have a question... what kind of board is in it? Could one be put into it for tourny modes? I want to make an egomag, but I like the vertical feel to this frame. PM me with answers?

    Thanks,
    Jason

It uses a Scenario Dreams UTB.

It has a "tourney board" in it. Its programmable just as any other board is out there. Field Legal to whatever you wish to set it as. All you have to do is set your ROF to the limit you are allowed to shoot and your half way there,... choose a fire mode and your done.

    UPDATE

Here is where we are as of last night (8/9/10)

There are still operations to go,.. but at this point,... the remainder are all small ones and can be done quick.

Those of you that have paid your deposit,.... I will contact you in a week or so to get anodizing information.

    That is all

    UPDATE

I am going to get a "real time" update from the machine shop on where they are tomorrow. By the looks of things,.. we are on track.

Also,.. I will take your anodizing choices at any time now. Please POST them up in this thread rather than sending PMs.

If you are getting something other than Matte Black,... you will need to send a payment for your anodizing order.

Please be certain to read all of the first post with how the pricing works with anodizing.

Matte Black is paid for in your deposit.

Gloss Black is NOT. There is an added charge for this service as it requires more work for the shop.

I have worked out some deals with the anodizing shop that will take extra parts of you would like them to be anodized to match. Items must ALL be in the SAME color during the time of anodizing. The ONLY stipulation to this rule would be if someone else was getting another color and you were wanting the same color at the same time of anodizing.

In other words,... if you want something other than a single color or single finish,... you need to plan it and be willing to pay the extra in advance as it will be more costly in the end if you do not.

Extra parts can include rails, bodies, fore grips, etc.

All parts must be clean, and free of burs. Stripping of existing anodizing is an EXTRA charge (about $8 per piece)

If we send in extra parts for gloss ano, do they have to be prepped to a mirror finish before we send them in or will the ano shop take care of the polishing?

If you want Gloss (Black or other) you can have the anodizing shop Im using polish your parts for you. The parts DO NOT have to be stripped,.. they will strip them for you,.. there is no extra change!

But polishing they do! I will break the price down.

Cost is all dependent on the number of guys getting gloss (as a group)

Independent pricing (if you do not want to wait for a group rate) is as follows:

    VER Frame polished
    Anodized Gloss (Black) is $35

    +1 Piece is $10

I have had quotes from 10+ shops,... no one can beat the pricing we are getting. And the turn around time,.. is short,... VERY short (in the world of anodizing)

That anodizing picture you see of the proto-type with dust orange was $150 easy,.... and thats not gloss!

    UPDATE

Here is the almost complete marker my wife will be using at Reaperball II next weekend.

I am so very pleased with the anodizing,...

All that's left is to install the rail bushing, C-Clip, Ring, and ASA screw I ordered from Tuna yesterday

I want to note the Magnus Talon trigger here. Very impressed with this trigger,... has a nice feel to it and a clean but "ULE look" to it

I just set the Thread locker on the 2 set screws for my trigger pull. Can't wait to test the whole thing out!

    That's all for now!

Not that it will change anything for me but just would like to know. Mine will be used with a Dalara rail.

Great video, by the way! Is that PSP ramping?

    Thanks.
