  1. #1

    Pneu kits ready.

im about to get my restock of emag batteries in,
I was wondering if anyone is interested in me stocking pneu kits, ones with the msv2 and the mpa-3 ram.

    let me know your thoughts.

    thank you,
    KNM

Get them and put them out. Mag79 is very sporadic in his time here, from what i seen. I know, i want a kit, just to have.

its would be the msv2, mpa3 ram, barb fittings, trigger rod, lp hose and mounting screws and trigger stops if I can get them.
and the magnet mod if people want it.

all parts ordered minus set screws and trigger rod but those will get here before anything else even if I order them later.
ill throw up a dealer thread when I get the parts in hand.

what length set screw for trigger stop screws with nylon tip do people use?

Off the top of my head I don't remember what length I used on the M86's. But they were just 4-40 thd 18-8 Stainless Steel setscrews. No nylon tip.

    I use 6-32 and I've seen others use 8-32.
Length depends on the trigger but 1/4' is a good average.

8-32 on what an emag trigger. that seems big.

I dont recall what trigger it was but I have seen them.
Personally if I were you I would avoid the 4-40 because it may be hard for guys at home to hand tap. On a milling machine it's not an issue but it may be an issue for the inexperienced to hand tap.

yeah my thoughts exactly, ill offer the 4-40 to people that have say the trigger already tapped.

Set screws are cheap in bulk so it would be easy to stock a few sizes and lengths then people can choose what they want, LMK if you need a source for hardware.

the one on the right the reason the magnet holder is cracked is because it is a V1, the new versions are the right size to hold the magnets very nicely.

I assume you're gluing the mag mod on? I've always wondered if mounting the side near the valve through the mounting holes would be better than gluing it to the top? Meaning provide the mount to utilize the screw holes. Not sure if I'm explaining myself well?

if I have time ill make some that utilize one of the mounting holes.
but I will be using epoxy

just like all the guys have done in the past.
as long as you don't go torking on the parts they tend to stay in place.

ill kick the design to utilize the mounting hole in the msv 2 tomorrow,
this will allow for no epoxy

    like this?

  21. #21
Yep......exactly. I'd be interested in a couple of those mounts that don't need epoxy and utilize the mounting holes.

With the correct materials you could print a new MPA-3 ram, combining the piston/oring carrier and ram in one part.

    yeah I know right,

I have all of the materials in my office to do it.
just need to get a printer back in my hands lol

and to do some real testing.
I want to make a setup and bring it to tunaball if I can make it.
that would probably be the best testing I could think of, next to handing out free samples, and not getting feedback.

with these magnet mods you will have to unscrew the mounting screw and pull it out to adjust the magnet screw.
