Yep, if you notice... that's where your valve went. Have to have the air come out the left side if I put the Rip Clip on there.

And more of them. Can't make out what you have set up. Guessing it has to do with a Mag and a Rip Clip?

Yeah, sorry... not good a photography. Didn't have anything to hold the gun up as well, but I just realized I have some foam blocks around the house...

The idea is just to re-use the flexibility of BT's mounting system on a mag.

So you can use a standard hopper:

Or Rip Clip if that's your thing:

Or my personal favorite, the SA-17 mag on a mag:

    That' s a Traccer rail isn't it?

How did you fix it onto the body and how strong is it?

I removed the extended wings off the Trracer rail, then sanded it to fit better on the Automag body. I used Gorilla Glue; not exactly a graceful solution, but I've played with the Rip Clip on there and it held just fine. I think with the sanding, I got a fairly good amount of bonding area.

That's actually pretty ingenious. And Gorilla Glue, once cured, won't move from there!

I like it. Out of curiosity, is the tracer rail metal or plastic?

    It's glass filled nylon.

Very cool mod! I like it.

I like the mod too. It's very similar to an idea I had and am attempting to get milled - along the lines of a sightrail, to attach to an AM/MM rail, and allow picatinny rails to screw on the sides and top. Basically an aluminum bolt-on body shroud.

This is the easy way to do it apparently. Not knocking it at all, it looks good. And you actually got the mod finished. (I don't know if my project will ever get off the ground, lol)

I've been struggling to find a name for this, and I think this works!

Yeah, I had other ideas as well, but getting parts made is a hassle, even if I have them all drawn up in Google Sketchup. Off-the-shelf parts are nice...

That's really slick. If you powdercoated it or got that mag body black somehow it would be a real head scratcher for just about anyone who saw it.

    Nice job!

Now that's what I'm Tolkien 'bout!

That's how hoppers should have been mounted from the start. Direct rail mount, no feed neck.

Might have to pick one of those up...

Very Cool! You can call it the "Trac-Mag"

My 3d printer is still on preorder.

I think it's more complicated than just that though. Every time he puts one on, he presses a button. It might have an electric component in it...

The site says they are gravity fed, but it definitely appears to be agitated.

Well, yeah... splitting hairs, but electronic can still be gravity fed, i.e. a revvy is electronic agitated, but still is gravfed to me. That said, I have no idea what's going on in those vids. Maybe he's hitting a latch, a button, small woodland creature, who knows...
