So very proud about my latest build!

When winter comes, I stop playing paintball and start tinkering in my mancave and in the B/S/T section to find parts and whatnot.

I had two mag projects this winter. First off, the TOTShadow's old RT Classic that I got reanodized in a woodland camo splash, which can be seen here.

Next, was this Classic 68 that I wanted to restore. Except, the project changed directions along the way and I spent probably more than I originally wanted to.

This it what she looks like now:

As it stands, it's 90% complete. I am waiting for some hardline and fittings to go on the CP ASA and foregrip and I need to get the valve and barrel polished.

    Specs:
    -Level 7 Classic valve
-Rare AGD stainless steel centerfeed low-rise body
    -Omega rail
    -32 Degrees single trigger frame
    -pbalien73 dragon wood grips
    -Pearce finger groove inserts
    -CP direct mount ASA
-Phantom hardline compression kit, cut-down to fit
    -Doc's twistlock-to-cocker adapter
    -Stainless steel Freak back
    -Doc's M-4 polished aluminum tip

With a small tank and a 50-round hopper, this will be a really tight setup to play with.

    *EDIT*

Updated pictures, got my polished parts back today and installed the bottom hard line:

I LOVE how the valve turned out. The Classic 68 lasering didn't survive, but the serial number did:

I think this is the Mag Builders Mantra isn't it?

Nicely done, Grips are nice. Give it a very "Patton sidearm" feel to it.

That project looks gorgeous man, very nice job!

I'm just questioning the reason why you used the omega rail? for some reason it doesn't look right on the rear end, maybe it's just me...

I don't know what to respond to that - beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. Maybe it's the camera angle, I don't know, but I do know that it looks beautiful in person.

Besides, I had a hard time finding a chrome rail when I built the project

Did you do all of the polishing yourself? If not, who did?

No, the polishing was done by the talented LK-13, the Loose Kannonn!

No offense intended i assure you, it's a VERY sharp gun.... love the eye candy i'm seeing it just seems like it's so clean, smooth, and to the point... then you have the cuts in the rail on the rear... just clashes IMHO but this isn't a contest and noones judging you, was just curious on the reasons for using that when there were other options available is all

    Beautiful work though

Haha no offence taken but yeah, I see where you're coming from. Besides, a Mag project is never truly finished, so if I ever stumble upon a better looking rail, I might jump on it, but chrome parts are hard to get by.

The Omega rail works great, the other guy is high on paint thinner.

The Omega rail used to be the most desired, and expensive aftermarket rail to get years ago. Now prices are more reasonable. Good choice, great mag!

The only no-rise body cooler than one for you to use that would be a Minimag one, but they ain't exactly growing off trees.
