When winter comes, I stop playing paintball and start tinkering in my mancave and in the B/S/T section to find parts and whatnot.
I had two mag projects this winter. First off, the TOTShadow's old RT Classic that I got reanodized in a woodland camo splash, which can be seen here.
Next, was this Classic 68 that I wanted to restore. Except, the project changed directions along the way and I spent probably more than I originally wanted to.
This it what she looks like now:
As it stands, it's 90% complete. I am waiting for some hardline and fittings to go on the CP ASA and foregrip and I need to get the valve and barrel polished.
Specs:
-Level 7 Classic valve
-Rare AGD stainless steel centerfeed low-rise body
-Omega rail
-32 Degrees single trigger frame
-pbalien73 dragon wood grips
-Pearce finger groove inserts
-CP direct mount ASA
-Phantom hardline compression kit, cut-down to fit
-Doc's twistlock-to-cocker adapter
-Stainless steel Freak back
-Doc's M-4 polished aluminum tip
With a small tank and a 50-round hopper, this will be a really tight setup to play with.
*EDIT*
Updated pictures, got my polished parts back today and installed the bottom hard line:
I LOVE how the valve turned out. The Classic 68 lasering didn't survive, but the serial number did:
