    Hard Case

Does anyone make or sell rigid cases for mags? I am sure I could piece one together but figured I would ask.

Walmart sometimes has fairly nice cases for not much cost.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I did buy a Plano pistol case from Walmart, but Hook and I both have this:

but if that's too big for what you have in mind, there's this too:

Someone needs to come up with padding that is changeable. I have a couple of markers that I have changed the set up on and now the tear away padding doesnt match up.

Both the 2nd and 3rd links are helpful but are the same.

This is probably what Zondo wanted to post. First page shows the large case suitable for two markers and page 5 shows the smaller case. Rondo Music now sells the smaller cases in digi-camo.

You can also get a hard case with tear-away foam from Harbor Freight cheaper than the music place: http://www.harborfreight.com/18-inch...ase-39196.html

That's what I use. Though, like OPBN, now that I've changed my marker the tear-away foam doesn't work right. I'm going to get some layers of closed-cell foam (yoga mat, camping bed roll, etc.) and cut my own shapes.

I found a foam sheet in the automotive section that is supposed to be for padding when you are under a car. It was like $10 and gave me enough to make 3 layers of padding. It's a pain to cut properly though. You'll go through about 10 razor blades.

I like that HF case though, nice partitions. MIght work really well for a barrel case.

Depending on the type of foam, you might want to cut it with a heat knife. I think that's what they're called. They actually melt more than they cut, but it makes a cleaner line.

Never thought about that. Stuff I found is pretty dense.

I have an old hard brief case that I put some of that bed top padding in to cushion the marker.

    This type of padding http://www.amazon.com/Crate-Foam-Mat.../dp/B003XUXNCQ
