    The Avengers

    Hey...Hey...

I just saw it and it was pretty damn good.

The ending story plot for the (I'm guessing) next Avengers movie is going to be ****ing epic. The bad guy in it is hands down my favorite comic villain of all time right next to Lobo.

This guys going to be a bad ass!!!

He could very well be the villain for Thor 2 or the new Iron Man since his first appearance was in the Iron Man comics...only time will tell.

    I can't wait.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I went in after hearing loads of hype with low expectations, and wallet pain from the $15 ticket. I've now seen it twice, once in 2D and once in 3D, it's worth the money for the 3D. Funny and well shot - what less can you expect from Joss Whedon?

    Only complaints (no spoilers):

Nick Fury = Bruce Willis, Samuel Jackson ≠ Nick Fury

Black Widow! Should be a severe anorexic redhead with a thick russian accent, not a girl-next-door type who talks like a starbucks barista. Scarlett Johansson did a great job with her role but she just wasn't right for the part; it wasn't written into the film accurately/well.

Ya...The deal with Nick Fury is a puzzling one.

They took the Alternate Marvel Universe Nick and put him in the norm one.

What's really cool about Jackson playing the part is when Marvel created the Alternate Universe, the writers actually asked Jackson if they could use his Jules Winnfield (pulp fiction) persona for the character back in the mid 90's. Come almost 20 years later, he's now playing the part which is pretty damn awesome

As far as someone playing the white version of Nick Fury...I would have to go with Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler or Aaron Eckhart.

Sam actually played the Black Nick exceptionally well. Hell they made the character after him

I really enjoyed it too. Some of my friends were nervous about how ANOTHER new Hulk would pan out, but we all left impressed that Hulk was probably the single most interesting character in the whole movie. Not an easy feat when your onscreen with the always entertaining Robert Downey Jr.

Gotta say though, I was a little sad when they killed off one of my favorite characters (don't wanna spoil the movie for anyone!). The next few movies will be weird without him.
    HARDY HAR HAR!

And we're just gonna put a happy little bush in the corner right there, and it'll be our little secret. AND IF YOU TELL ANYONE! THAT, THAT BUSH IS THERE! I WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE! AND I WILL CUT YOU!

Different generation, I stick with pre-95 when it comes to comics. He did a good job, just not my style.

I dig the Aaron Eckhart call though.

i saw it and thought it was pretty good, not quite to the top of my expectations to be honest...all those movies that were a build up to the avengers and i thought that the plot would be better...although the fight scenes and the humor in there were great...and the ending credits scene was bad a**...although only comic nerds would know what it was...i have to watch it again in 2D...3D isnt for me either, ha

He plays himself playing Mitch from Baywatch in the new terrible looking Piranha movie...
