Good luck with the recovery, when it rains it pours. Just make sure you take it easy and listen to the docs, dont be like my father and decide you need to mow the yard a month from now.

I mentioned this early this year to my wife to give her time to make arrangements. Having it in early June may make it possible for me to actually drive and thus more likely it will come to pass.

I'm going to try to make it. Maybe I'll take a detour and we can carpool.

My grandfather went through this same routine, cancer, heart issues... 12 years later he is still working. Hang in there and this will just be another story to tell.

That sounds good. All four of us and gear probably wouldn't fit too well in my Accord.

My wife said about the same. I'm thinking caravan might be more in order. I know the only reason my wife is going is because NYC is within an hour or so drive away. I'm not kidding myself into thinking she actually wants to spend 10 hours in the car with me just for fun. She will definitely want to have her car available to go into the city.

I'd love to attend a TunaBall and meet all you guys (and Tuna, of course) in person but being in Brazil and working for a huge company makes timing really critical. If only it was possible to do it in the beggining of July...

We did Tb5 last August. It was BRUTALLY HOT AND HUMID. I would never do it that late in the season again, and im actually a little hesitant to even go into June. However, it was the best date to accommodate the most people.

With that said, sack up and book you're flight Mendel!!!
