We have been fishing for them since 1975. Caught quite a few up to 750 lbs. Figure about 25 grand to rig your boat just to meet the Federal and State regulations to participate in this fishery.(Selling fish commercially). This is may favorite thing to do. Giant Tuna fishing is wild...but is can also be feast or famine. Went 26 trips one year without a single bite. Next year we had 13 in 2 weeks.

wantched this show all day they caught a 1000lbs one it was frickin huge.
