What is the best inexpensive way to protect raw aluminum from oxidization? I have some milled parts that I want to have Anno'ed eventually (over the winter) but also want to play with them until then. Thanks

plastic bags and oil
hit up XMT, he told me once. i forget now though.
I seem to remember someone recommending a good coat of automotive wax. But, I have no first-hand knowledge of this.
I recall that also, just worried that it would be a bear to remove when it came time to Anno the parts.
chafnerjr used wax on his polished mag. I think you would just need to tell your anodizer that it is waxed so they don't mistake it for freshly polished. A soft media blast should take it off as well.Originally Posted by bbotts77
