    Mag-feed Mag!

So ive been wanting to do this for a while... im finally getting around to starting this project.

    Flipped ULE body
    Chopped Emag rail
    Milsig Magwell
    Specops longbow shroud
    Pneumatics for the trigger group

I still have plenty of changes to make and cutting to do, but i was excited and wanted to show someone

    Enjoy!

Very nice bro. I've got one going myself and it's setup the same way you have yours with the reversed body and pnum grip. I'll be using a Rap4 box hopper and retrofitting a Front Grip Magazine Holder to attach the hopper.

This. Most of my team is leaning towards magfed, and this would be something fun and different... and hopefully lighter weight than the milsigs.

Awesome. I've been thinking of ways I could do this, too. Thanks for posting. I'm looking forward to update.

Did you mill another slot in the body for sear, and how did you mount it to rail?

Hold up... just spotted the inverted rail. That's going to be a bit weird for pneumatic trigger operation

There are 2 rails. One inverted, one right side up. That's what the longbow shroud attaches to.

I plan to borrow hill's idea and use a little block to hold the ram, it will live on top of the top rail and will hide under an extension of the longbow shroud.

Well it was not turning into a cool marker all by itself, sitting in my pile of parts, so.......

Hope it fits and works with your design.

Many thanks Hill... you sir are a gentleman and a scholar!

Just spent another 45 minutes fitting parts and taking measurements. Once i find time to make a crap-load of noise in the garage without waking my kids or making the Mrs mad i will post up some progress pictures. Thanks for the interest!

Was that the one you used in your box fed minigun design?

That was a really cool build

Same one, only it is one of the run luke did for me. I had a similar project to this one planed but it looks like a different project will happen instead and i will never sell the lower block and the other components i assembled for the build so.....

I got the parts in today Hill! I cant thank you enough... they look AWSOME! I need to do a little work on getting my air lines run inside the longbow shroud, but once i get that in order the only thing left to do is test it out! Here is a pic of everything currently assembled:

Anyone have a suggestion on a cheap airsoft shell I could use to dress up the outside?

I know its just useless weight, but think adding some sort of barrel shroud/handguard would balance it out better.

Agreed... I think I will chop up an airsoft or nerf body to complete the look but keep weight down. It will get a much shorter barrel as well.

I think it was Ops Gear or Spec Ops used to sell universal slip on handguards. IIRC, they were two piece so they could fit over the barrel and tightening it down clamped it to the barrel.
