    X-MAG Yellow/Orange/Red

I thought I would share some photos of the X-mag I picked up off ebay last week.
The anno is in excellent condition, a couple small nicks but I was very happy with how nice it is. I spoke with the seller and he was the original owner who purchased it from PEVS in VA. The valve is the original and it was not accounted on the PBLegion X-mag owners list. Feed neck has been modified. I have been on the hunt for one of these for years and I am excited to finnally own one!

    Serial # VV04963
Now on for the gun porn

My only concern at this point is that I can’t unscrew the air inputs from the valve or ASA by hand. I have always used a little Teflon tape but I understand certain loctite can be used also, maybe that is why it is so tight. I want to swap out for macro fittings to keep the stainless line away from the body and I don’t like when it is looped out the back.

Beautiful X bud, love the look of that color scheme. They are a blast to shoot and will land you a lot of questions on the field. Every time I use my X someone asks me about it

To get the air inlets out you can wrap the valve/asa in a thick towel or cloth and put in between two pieces of wood in a vice, that way you can hold it securely and not mess up your anno.

Love it!!! If you don't feel comfortable removing the fitting please contact tunaman I can't stand seeing wrench marks around the valves of automags

Thanks for the advice Grimm! I removed both fittings trouble free using that technique.

Don’t worry Bunny it came out scratch free! I guess today has been a good day for the Tequila Sunrise fades, that is quite a monster you revealed. Love the work!

CCM macro fittings are on order, I was thinking of adding a tuna blade but I don’t dare install it myself the finish is just too nice to risk messing up.

Glad I could help! I would definitely upgrade to a tunablade/fireblade, they are much easier to walk compared to the stock trigger (at least for me, I dislike the stock trigger). You can always have someone install the trigger for you if you are afraid to do it yourself.

What color macro fittings did you buy?
