    Test Forum Up and Running

    AO,

We have the test forum up and running at
    http://dev.automags.org/

This is just a copy not the new software upgrade. If it works we will then update VB. Go there and post a few things and make sure its ok. It will all get trashed when we do the full update. Report back here if you find issues.

Yeah I agree. It's blistering compared to the current forum.

It's definitely different hardware as www appears to still live on the east coast and dev appears to live in the Chicago land area. I would assume it is new(er) hardware.

Yes it is on new hardware but more importantly its sitting 50 feet above the main fiber cable bringing all data into Chicago. I am just trying to give you your money's worth

Next we will upgrade to the latest VB. Standby!

I've tested the search function and it is alot better, super quick to key word search on AO. I don't know if I'm crazy or not but it seems like there are more threads than there use to be. Did you guys repair anything on the backend?

The reason why I ask, is because I have searched the AO database for hours and hours and just found a few new pictures of SFL Emags I have never seen before while searching on the dev automags.org. I find it pretty interesting that I haven't found them until now.

Can't wait to see the new Vbulletin upgrade. We really need a facelift.

    Here's a question -

We were able to attach images for years. Then the decision came about to not allow that - and I'm cool with it.

But were those attached images deleted or were they just un-linked from the forum - meaning that they're part of that massive file download you did a while back?

Tried to attach an image - not sure if that functionality was turned on for the test environment or not, but here's the error message I received:

if you find any of that deep blue file cabinet we've chatted about, be sure to save and post it.

You get the same error code when you attempt to attach a file on AO regular.

Since it is just a copy of AO I doubt any features like this have been turned back on. I can't wait to play in the updated version of AO.

Btw, attached files suck. So many pictures were lost
