Thread: AGD website is down, and emails are bouncing back - WHY?

Question AGD website is down, and emails are bouncing back - WHY?

    Hi
Did AGD go out of business? I tried contacting Dave Zupan and the email bounced back. And the Website is down. I need to order parts!!!

How can I contact AGD to order parts without going through the store webpage which seems to be the only page still up? I'm a dealer.

Odd, it was up and running a couple of days ago. Maybe they took it down for updating? Would love to hear something from someone confirming or denying.

The AGD server at Daves house has crashed. Catastrophic hard drive failure. They are backing up now. Let me know if anyone needs any parts. If I have it...you got it.

I thought that part of the AO forum update $ was supposed to go to moving the AGD website & upgrading its software...

Tom - care to explain this?

Tom doesn't have anything to do with AGD anymore, why would it have included AGD's server? AO != AGD anymore.

Thats a job in itself. The agd website has to go over too. I am not going to do that, someone has to pay for it. Dave doesn't have the dough either.

So its more than just transferring a list of members and some posts.

According to Dave, the manufacturing software, email accounts, and a few other things are on the server at Daves house. Nothing to do with the Forum or Toms other stuff.

Just as well the AOG forum was moved to the new server a few months ago... otherwise that would have crashed with it as well

Just talked to Dave. It seems the drive crash is resolved, but his website guy is really busy.
They will be getting everything back up in a day or so.

Site should be back up already Dave called and said they had a redirect issue and they just fixed it. Might take a bit for all providers to propagate the change!
